Couldn't Validate Code, Please Try Again.

    Hello,
I recently received the code that lets me acquire Tabard of the Void in game. I've been to the blizzard site, entered the code there and received the code I was to use in game. However, every attempt I make at entering the code returns and "Couldn't Validate Code, Please Try Again" message. I've tried manually entering it, copying it and pasting it, re-retrieving it from the blizzard site, trying after disabling my addons, waiting a day, and it still gives me the error message! I'm also sure I've entered the correct region and realm. Any help in resolving this issue would be much appriciated.

Tabard of the Void is purchased from the UDE point store, it doesn't come from a card.  If the loot card you had was Landro Longshot, then you need to select the Tabard of Fire and then enter the code.

It was given to me as a gift, I still believe it's the Tabard of the void though. Am I wrong in thinking there isn't a different process for retrieval from cards and the UDE store?

There isn't, but if you have a actual loot card, which is what it sounded like in your initial post, then it cannot be the Tabard of the Void as it is only available from the point store.  What is the card that you were given?

I should apologise I had to slightly edit my original post, I meant code instead of card, I received the code for a tabard of the void.

You can try e-mailing entertainment@upperdeck.com for help.  Technically once you redeem the code on Blizzard's website Upper Deck is no longer involved, but it seems that Blizzard is pretty unresponsive about loot issues.

BlueRider has the correct advice here. While our ability to help is marginal once you have redeemed the code on Blizzard's site for an in-game code, we are familiar with many of the typical problems that users face when trying to pick up their item from Landro.

Contact us at the above e-mail address and we'll see what we can do. In your situation, I would first ask if you are absolutely certain the code you were given was for a Tabard of the Void and not one of the other Tabards. Also, the 'could not validate code' message is consistent with trying to use a code that was redeemed on a different server. You might just try it again and see what server it is on via Blizzard's redemption page.
