While i was playing on my main i noticed lots of lvl 30 - 40 players with mounts..... don't you think that the level for mounts should stay at level 40 ? I do, it makes people level quicker so they can get the mount.

It doesn't make people 'level quicker' to get a point. The game is getting old. First they made it easier to level from 1-60, boosting expeirence so it goes by quicker. Now they lowered mount level to make it easier to level quickly.

 As a game ages the old content is usually streamlined and it becomes easier to get to some of the newer content.

 I'm fine with that. I never leveled an alt because it takes to long and is rather frustrating, /especially/ when you hit around level 30 and your running very long distances to complete quests. The mount now enables you to travel those distances easily and quickly, enabling you to level quicker.

 Old Azeroth is cool, alot of my favorite parts of the game are in that area. Plaguelands and many of the undead areas held some of my favorite storyline and artistic design in them, for example. Its just nice to be able to level someone up so much easier now, so that, say, you can have a new character in a class you always wanted to try after years of playing something else, just in time for the next expansion.

No because the level 40 mount makes people work harder and level quicker to get it... my mate stoped leveling his warrior because he got the mount at level 34....

 I don't know why you would stop leveling because it suddenly got easier to do so. Maybe your mate is just lazy or doesn't really enjoy the character?

i think at 30 u need a mount to quest and raid, i mean, have u seen the distance u have to cover to do the succ and other warlock pet quests??? for succ u have to go from undercity to silverpine then to wetlands and i did it on foot.. and died in arathi tryin to get to wetlands by the stupid 30 raptors....

I dunno. This may be because I quit pre-bc, but I think it is stupid and I agree with the OP. Like... 30 is too low IMO. Now, I do understand your argument that 30 is better due to traversing land quicker and so on and so forth sooner. But I do think keeping it at 40 would make people want to level quicker to get the mount (though I have no facts to prove that, just from fellow guildy feedback), but I also see how people get bored with the old material and  just want to get it all done quicker to get to 70. I dont know, after BC got stupid anyways =P however I still miss it in a few ways.

Everything. =) That work for ya?

Some things like certain class abilities got nerfed, or replaced by a horrible ability (few not to bad, Snake Trap anyone?). Even the weaps and armour kinda stretch too far. I saw an extreemly well equipted Fury warrior in action and I almost cried (really disapointing really), as they were one of my fav PvP classes. The newer end game gear looks kinda silly. Flying mounts? Look great, seem great, but I dont know. Kinda... weird I guess don't know how to explane that one. The whole socket/jewel crafting thing is a stretch too far into Diablo territory for me (same company I know). Cool Idea, but I dunno just not too much into the thought of it. Resiliance? wtf? I know people Don't like to get one shotted by practically by rogues but damnit that's making PvP Armour way to rediculous. You don't even have to run any cool high end hard working instance to get rad armour anymore.

Just seems like to much has changed for the worst. Personally I cannot say a hell of alot, because I have not even played after BC stuff. Just watched friends play alot. All my old friends who still play agree that it was just more golden in the good ol days. I dunno though. Gotta keep it fresh no doubt about it. Jusst dunno if they have kept it fresh in the good way I guess to say. *shrugs*

By the way I still can't get over how silly Drenei look. *giggles* What the hell happened to them?? Underwent a HUGE evolutionary chance since WC3. Which is fine, cause I mean I know their background. But they have like... Hooves or something now? Just really Bizzaar ahahah.
