I didn't get winning bombs either... but I did get a bomb... Living bomb. Played it once, didn't work.

The set seems like it could be slow or really fast. Fast because some allies (Nerubians for example) have stats that make them good and the only*** removal for allies is trading. Oh, your play a 5/5 or 6/6? What ally do i have to waste and trade into it? No ice lance, no slash n dash etc...

***Ok there is some removal, but not as much as in drums (it seems)

Edit: Oh yeah, 2 kits per store? Wtf is up with that? Gone are the days of 2 flights? Gone are the days of good prize support (that doesnt have to be dipped into for the players over 24 limit)? Seems silly to me...

Thinking about it, I would have to agree. The removal isn't up to par of Drums of War. I don't remember using any of my removal except that 2-cost to do 2 or 4 if you have a disease. However, we only played 5 games, so it's hard to evaluate the format like that.

I want 2-flights too. 24-players is lame!

I had fun at the preview, got 3rd and Freddy got 5th (have been doing pretty well last few weeks) I finally won a playmat which was the main thing I wanted since I started to play this game.

Not sure if we can make it next saturday, we have plans, but i'll let you guys know.

For the release event next weekend, what time is that going to start?

I spoke to Jeff and he thought that it was regular time (1 PM), but he also said there is a yugioh event that day, so things could get crowded. He also told me that if people wanted to start early, he could.

Anyway, do people want a 1 PM start time, or something earlier?

I actually didn't get any game winning bombs either. All I had was a solid ally base, good quests, and a lot of equipment removal.

Well,

That was fun. Tonier won it, and Jaxtheripper was second. I came 12th after going 3-2. I was very lucky. There were about 27 players I think. C&Js just watered down the prizes slightly to let more than 24 enter.

Nice to meet ChashingTheTruth finally, and play some fun games. Comgrats to Amy for opening an Kel'Thuzad and getting to play it against me (she had no luck the first two rounds).

I didn't get any game winning bombs, but got the Epic Warlock guy (pay 1 -> remove a Warlock ally you control from game, remove target ally from the game).

So, as this is an announcement thread:

Tuesday night for Achievements this week.

Then, Release Celebration next Saturday.

BTW: There were some who were asking: Whitney Gravecaller is the EA for the Release Celeb.
