It is not a trojan but it will be detected because it does alter files. ...

I posted the crack here because all the crack sites are full of trojans and spyware if u don't know where to look.

The first statement contradicts the second.

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

Then you fail at reading comprehension. You will get Spyware/Adware/Malware/TOJANSOMG! by searching for the crack. The crack itself does register as one under some anti-virus programs because it alters Magic Workstation files on your computer.

99.9% of the MWS users have used this exact patch. If you want to scream OMG TROJANS just don't download it. No one has been infected and said anything of the sort so what more do you need?

I would rather people like you who cannot comprehend situations at the slightest hint of complexity not play Magic Workstation. It saves me headaches playing against you later.

Did you make an account just to troll my thread? /epic phail

Can you confirm that that crack works with Vista? All mine does is say it has stopped working as soon as  I click it to open it :(

This does happen with vista. My friend however did get it to work. I have to figure out exactlly what we did. I think we took an already patched folder of MWS from an XP computer over the Vista Install. If you have 2 computers try that.

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

When your deck is ready you may save your deck or press CTRL + I or the long way Game -> Connect to Opponent to play online. Until you know another server just press Game. Join games or Create one. Make sure you Label it WoW and the latest sets that you have loaded.

I was a little confused by this part. I built a deck and went to Game on the top left menu > Connect to Opponent. There was an IP deal or I could "call" the two servers you mentioned but you said to "just press game". What am I pressing?

I called the 2nd server and saw a guy in there and I double clicked the game. It added me but I wasn't sure how to actually start playing after that or if he was just AFK.

I played a solo game and it seemed really great! I was so happy to get it working I didn't notice, was there a chat function? I guess I can just go check...Anywho this will be a really useful tool for me. My area doesn't see a lot of play and only 2-3 real competitive players. I plan to build strong and hit regionals starting in just a few weeks but I have hardly anyone to playtest against.

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

Press "Ctrl + I" and a new screen should appear with the option to change the server. Keep it the same for now and press call. This will get you to the room for looking at games/making games.

Glad everything else is working though. ;)

And I am going to futher state how to fix the vista problem.

Just install Magic Workstation on Vista.

Install and crack Magic Workstation on XP
Copy the entire Magic Workstation folder onto a transferable media.
Paste over all the files onto the Vista folder

This does work! I guess I could copy and paste my entire folder and host it so u can copy over it.

Also, is there a way to make the image in the Deck Edit mode, not so compressed looking? To have the image fill up that entire pane would be just swell :)

Do you have the theme set correctly?

I did up a bad file earlier missing parts. Download this new one and read the instructions in it.

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

Just wanted to say that I did like 90% of my playtesting for Worlds via MWS, it was a great tool.  To be able to play games at anytime w/out having to travel anywhere is what made it so useful.  I also met a lot of good players on there just playing random games.  Also nice to be able to play any decks w/out having to bother proxying them or anything is great.

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

    Additional confirmation:

Yes this works.  I prefer MWS over the java based explorer ones.  It works on Vista, with a little work.  Now, if only someone could get the sealed aspect of MWS to work with WoW, we'd all be set.

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one
