Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

The Magic card frame is removed by adding the wow theme file to the themes folder.  Unfortunately, I goofed when I compiled the complete install, and left out the theme file.  To re-upload it would take about 1.5 hours on my computer's speed.  Instead, I created the archives, offering each individual file for download.  If you go to the first page of this post, and scroll down to the archives, you should see a link for the WoW theme download.  Like the full install, it's an .exe file that will put the theme file in the correct folder provided you installed MWS to the default location.  Simply run the file, overwrite the old default.mwtheme when prompted (NOTE: This will make it impossible to play MAGIC, as the WoW theme stretches the image over the whole card), and you are done.  If you want to keep the old Magic theme, and also have the WoW theme, rename the default theme in the folder to something like magicdefault.mwtheme.  Then install my file.  Then you can switch between themes in the deck builder program.  Hope that helps!

Most of us just add the hero card to the sideboard, and drag it from the sideboard at the start of the match (view Sideboard)

Re: MWS - Guide - v3.0 - How to play WoW TCG online

When you installed MWS, there were two programs that came with it.  Magic Workstation is the deckbuilder program.  MWS Play is the program that allows you to connect with other players.  When you open MWS Play, hit F2, load a deck, then choose connect to others players.  A window will pop up with a list of servers.  Initially, you will only have 2 servers: mwsplay.net and mwsgames.net.  mwsplay.net is currently the default server.  Connect to that one, and start a new game with something in the game description along the lines of "World of Warcraft Only".  Shortly, someone should connect with you.  Hope that helps!

Re: MWS - Guide - v3.0 - How to play WoW TCG online

Need some help guys.  I've used MWS for magic before but never for wow.  I've entirely uninstalled everything and reinstalled MWS.  I'm trying to load up the card databases but I've always just used a game pack.. which I can't seem to find for wow.  I've got all the sets installed to the Custom Sets folder.. but can't seem to figure out how to get them actually loaded to where I can build decks with them.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you open the Magic Workstation deckbuilder program, goto "File, Open Library"  then choose the file titled "Warcraft.mwbase".  This file links all the custom sets together for deckbuilding>

Tried.  Tested. It Works!!!!  It ran a bit slower than my computer at home, but it does work.  Just make sure everything is at the correct "level" within the folders on the flash drive.  If you need help setting it up, let me know.
