    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

Does the envelope going to UDE need to be "standard legal sized 9 1/4” x 4” or 24cm x 10cm or does that only apply to the SASE?"

44-56 cards, envelope, order form and SASE weigh 3.6-3.8oz and is thicker than 1/4 inch.

I ask because of the following information from USPS.com

    First-Class letter dimensions:
    Rectangular
At least 3-1/2 inches high X 5 inches long X .007 inch thick
No more than 6-1/8 inches high X 11-1/2 inches long X 1/4 inch thick
    Maximum weight is 3.5 ounces

Letters that are considered nonmachinable are subject to a surcharge.
Length is the dimension parallel to the address.

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

I really wish UDE would have handled this differently. Instead of having us mail in the crafting redemption cards, they should have had an online option via the Points Store. We are already entering the codes. UDE should have just set up the system to recognize the crafting material based on part of the code.

    1) Customers enter their point codes.
    2) Systems tracks their ingredients.
    3) Customer selects which crafting reward(s) he/she wants.
    4) System checks that customer has the correct cards.
    5) System checks that customer has not exceeded any reward limits.
    6) System updates customers available crafting cards.
    7) System generates work order.
    8) UDE employees pull cards and ship.

I wonder how the savings from postage will balance out against the hassle of cards bouncing back to them? You know it will happen. People won't include enough postage. Their reward cards will bounce back to UDE and then they will get anger at UDE. Even if things go smoothly with the proper postage on return mail, UDE is still processing a large amount of redundant orders. By that I mean this. Current system. I mail in multiple orders for 2 rewards each. UDE employees have to process each one separately. Online system, I consolidate my order with the system checking that I have the correct cards needed. The system also checks that I haven't exceeded the limit of the cards I am requesting. The result is a more efficient process and a much quicker turnaround.

I would like to know what UDE's thought process was behind the mail-in part of this system as opposed to an online redemption system. Hopefully, the current process won't be a nightmare.

TY-  I can instantly see one major problem with your online suggestion.  If the point codes are tied in with the crafting materials, how would someone go about trading crafting materials?  Say I redeemed all of my ude points and realized after the fact that I was short XX primal earth, but had extra Primal Shadows.  In the current system we can freely trade mats to complete our needs.  And as far as I'm aware, you cant trade points from account to account (but im not 100% sure)

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

thats easy, just dont enter the codes you need?

It should have been two codes, one for Mats, one for points.

    Hi,everybody

There is one problem about promo cards #5 "Felsteel Reaper".

The list picture in UDE web says,it needs "Primal Shadow*4".

But the list PDF in UDE web says,it needs "Primal Earth*4".

    which one is right?

    I bring PANDA-MONIUM!
    Another round?

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

id say the primal earth x4 is correct.  the earlier recipe requiring the primal shadows was a "preview" so ude must have decided to edit the cards needed.

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

I got all of mine mailed today and thought I’d share my process and experience.

All in all the whole thing was kind of fun. For months now I have been entering points into the site. After I’d finish a stack I would then mark through the codes with a sharpie, sort them alphabetically and put them in a 2 slot 2000 ct. box. For organizing purposed I took a glue stick to a bunch of commons and glued them together in such a way that they were about a half inch taller than the crafting cards. I printed out nifty little labels with the mat names and put them on the glued cards to create dividers. This helped greatly later on in the building process. The rest was easy. I had all my mat totals in a spread sheet and calculated to yield as many cards as possible. From there my wife and I formed a little assembly line and had everything finished in about two hours. (From the beginning of Smallville to the end of Supernatural =P )

For those out of the states needing to buy U.S. stamps online, you will want to buy $1.50 worth of stamps (2 x .75) for each Large envelope sent to UDE and a .58 cent stamp for the self addressed stamped envelope.

You may run into a snag with the USPS if you use the 9 ¼” x 4” envelopes to send mats. These envelopes can only be ¼“ thick and can not weight more than 3.5oz. so you will probably want to use a “Large” envelope iinstead.

I had enough mats for 76 cards.

    76 x .75 stamps = 57.00
    38 x .58 stamps = 22.04
    38 x 9 ¼” x 6” envelope = 4.87
    38 x 9 ¼” x 4” envelope = 1.63
    76 x Rubber bands 1.48
    --------------------------------------------
    Total: $87.02 for 76 cards

Here’s to hoping this goes well. Sure glad I’m not on the receiving end of this deal.

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

The crafting redemption program doesn't give you any ingame items.  You turn in the correct resource cards and you get a new card.

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

I live in canada, and am having problems with the "self addressed stamped envelope" as I am using the Canada Post to send the items in, but needing to use USPS to have them returned to me.

ANyone know how much in postage it costs to send 2 cards from the US to Canada?

Anyone know how i can get US postage stamps In canada (buy online and print them out maybe?)

    Cheers

And here I thought we were gonna get a sneak peak at those bracers ....

    TEASE!

:-) Not on my watch, buddy!

The Bracers will be previewed next Wednesday, and the order form will be updated to reflect it.

Yes, you can start sending your orders in, but please remember to follow all the directions to the T so that we can make sure everyone gets their cards as quickly as possible.

It means that for each order you make, you can at most request two cards.  You can send in as many orders as you like, but only two cards can be requested per order.

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

I just have to give some Props to the WoW TCG Crafting Redemption team.  I followed the instructions outlined by others in this post and it went smoothly.

Sent in the week between X-mas and New Years, they arrived today, the 16th of January.  So roughly a 20 day turn around, less then 3 weeks!

I sent in 4 envelopes on one day, another one a day or two later, all 10 crafted cards arrived this morning.  I was really doubtful i'd see them in January, much less the middle of January.
