Isn't it 1 rare or epic OR legendary? :P

Yep, certainly is.  They're all in the same "placement" in the booster pack.

    I believe that's correct.

Re: World of Warcraft TCG Set Size

    Lowest: 1 in ~4 boxes
    Middle: 1 in ~1 case
    Highest: 1 in ~2 cases

To be more precise, I calculated it to be:

Low: 1 in every 110 packs (4.5 boxes)
Middle: 1 in every 220 packs (9 boxes)
High: 1 in every 440 packs (18 boxes or 1.5 cases)

This is assuming a case is 12 boxes which is how it is sold for Vs. and YGO.

Re: World of Warcraft TCG Set Size

I'm thinking the math is something like this:

Imagine that all of the cards that wind up in the Rare/Epic/Legendary slot are on one sheet. I believe this sheet would be 491 cards:

    110 Rares * 4
    1 Legendary * 4
    22 Epic * 2
    1 Legendary * 2
    1 Legendary * 1

    Meaning:
The rarest Legendary would be 1 in 491 packs
The medium Legendary would be 1 in 245.5 packs
The common Legendary would be 1 in 122.75 packs.

I wish the UDE points were redeemable for more than online items. For those who don't play the MMO the points are a waste. Why not offer cards, booster packs, etc.?

I don't see anywhere in the article where it says its only for online items.

UDE points will be reedemable for many things, most of which are physical items that are outside the MMO.

I still don't get the legendary cards, what do you mean you choose 3 random rare cards and made them with scratch offs?

    Hi folks,

We chose three cards in the set and made them into online items.

The online items are basically what you see on the cards.

So, if you see a guy riding a turtle on a card, then you get a turtle mount in game.

Only the "scratch off" versions of the card contain the code for the online item. The scratch off versions are Orange, whereas the normal versions are Rare.

There is no alterate art. (or spoon)

Any questions I can clear up?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

A lot of us have been trying to say just that, but it helps to get someone official saying it all in one post. :) Is there any way we can get a sticked FAQ somewhere? Ripark's FAQ would be great, but I think it'd help to have a place where all the information is in one place...

I had thought it was mentioned that the Legendary versions would be alternate or extended art.  I'll have to fix this in the FAQ.

Re: World of Warcraft TCG Set Size

Each epic card is roughly twice as hard to get as any specific rare card.

So this will mean that you can roughly expect to see how many epics per box? Or, 1 epic per what? 1 epic per every 4 packs? 2 packs?

Re: World of Warcraft TCG Set Size

Well, there's 110 rares, so the chances of getting a specific rare card is 1 in 110. Therefore the chance of getting an epic is 1 in 220? Maybe I'm reading that wrong...
