just now i bought cairne bloodhoof. btu i confused making a good team with it. anyone have a suggestion?

With Illiana you get Blessing of Might, Thangal Gift and Mark of the Wild.  So potentiall you can get

7 basic rolls w/ cairne, 1 reroll for Gift, 1 reroll for Mark, 2 rerolls for Blessing of Might, 1 reroll for Nightmare blade and 1 reroll for High Ground.

Getting a cti off 7 + 6 rerolls seems good.

if i use nightmare blade. and i launch an attck to the defender and make a 3 success attack, will the defender move 4 spaces? or just 3?

Well if you crit then its 4 spaces.

If there is no crit then its 3 spaces.

However final amount of space being moved will depend on the result of the defence roll.

Anything more than 3 rerolls and you start getting significantly diminishing returns.  I'm not gonna run the numbers, but chances are with 7 dice you are going to get at least 4 hits.

Use Charge, so you can get to them faster. If they have a lot of pets, you should use his Thunderclap to deal 2 to each. Hopefully some of them die to that. If not, at least they get 'Sent Packing.' You might want to include a healer in your party to keep the Epic alive.

I've gone 8-0 with this team at two different BGs:

Cairne Bloodhoof
     Cairne's Thunderclap
     Cleave
Aleyah Dawnborn
     Flash of Light
     Blessing of Might
Morganis Blackvein
     Arcane Flux
     Mana Pot

It uses Cairne's Thunderclap, after your opponent has attacked, to set up positioning, plus Might and Flux for rerolls amass, and 90% of the time will get you punts off the board.  It's an absolute blast of a team to play and very effective.

Well I play cairne a lot, I like to use him with Wilthon and Aleya

I use a sulfuras and an heroic strike at wilton, aleya packs blessing of mighr and blessing of kings, Cairne use charge and cleave, thats so cool :)

Well, back when Morts first came out I waxed it a couple of times with my Cairne build, but that was probably before anyone had a solid grasp of how it should be played.
