This + Authenticator will likely mean an Iphone in my near future.

You can get Armory on your iphone too.

Nice App.  Will def get it.  Few questions though.

Do you think it slows down gameplay at all or roughly is it the same as writing?  Is this an acceptable means of tracking damage?  IE: will a judge penalize you for using this method as opposed to what is stated in the comprehensive rules (pen and paper)?

This is great for casual/battlegrounds games, but at high level events you must use pen and paper as stated in the comprehensive rules.

If you're simply using it to track damage (i.e. you take 3, I take 1, you heal 1, etc...) then it's just as fast as picking up a pen and writing it down... and considerably faster than using dice.

... at high level events you must use pen and paper as stated in the comprehensive rules.
I'll let Ryan speak to this point specifically, but what I can say is that UDE is officially supporting this app and I've been working closely with the OP group in the interest of making it tournament legal.

    Awesome.  I cannot wait then.

    Brag: never been banned.

Congratulations Mr. Jack Fejer for getting engaged (:D!!!) and possibly making Day 2 Worlds. Still not entirely sure which is more of a miracle.

The app is finished. Just needs to go through Blizzard & Apple approval. I'm not sure how long it will take at Blizzard, but Apple should be 3-4 weeks, so I'm estimating October when it should be available for download. (Hopefully for Worlds)

I also updated the video to reflect some new art changes I made.

This is pretty keen. I just got an iPhone and I can't wait to download it.
I'm not a fan of the maroon and tan colour-scheme, but, honestly, this app is so amazing in every other detail that my complaint may as well not exist.

What you don't understand, you can make mean anything.

Re: WoW TCG Match Recorder for iPhone / iPod Touch

I recently was looking at getting a new phone and this actually was a small part of the reason I decided to get an iPhone.

So I am also looking forward to it!

Yeah, likewise, was thinking about this at the weekend when I was playing at a Battleground. This would have been super useful.

Re: WoW TCG Match Recorder v0.7 for iPhone / iPod Touch

    Here's the status update.

    - The app is complete.
    - I submitted it to UDE for approval in early September.
    - Ryan O'Connor said that they just needed to:
    1. Approve it internally
    2. Send it over to Blizzard for approval
    3. Then I can submit it to Apple and it will be available for download shortly thereafter.

As of this posting, we're still stuck on step 1.

I've been nagging Ryan every few weeks who has been pinging the folks at UDE who need to get the ball rolling, but nothing has been done yet.

Ryan just sent an e-mail (he cc'd me) to Dan Gladwell at UDE who evidently needs Dan Bojanowski to send it over to Blizzard and then we can move onto step #2.

I'm sorry it's taking so long. Honestly, I had really hoped it would have been available by now but, unfortunately, it's completely out of my hands.

Feel free to send an e-mail your local UDE rep about this if you like.

I'll update everyone here as soon as there's any change in status.
