Five bucks says the starters they mail the new people are Dark Portal.

You might be right, but that would definitely go against the idea of trying to get new people to play.

Really cool idea. I just hope they stay on top of shipping the product out right away. A free starter deck for a new player is a great way to get people to play the game, but no free starter deck for a month when someone is expecting one is a great way to get people to never play the game again.

Good job so far... don't screw this up, UDE!

Called a couple of card gaming friends who have not tried WoW yet.

They all wished I called them about a week earlier because they now have plans for this weekend.

One of them is free Sunday. Too bad even though we have 4 or more Sneaks in Southern CA they are all on Sat.

Giving away a starter deck is a nice way to get rid of extra inventory.

Giving away a semi competitive pre-made deck is a good way to get players into the game.

the portal decks might not be the best
but they come with 2 boosters and there are at least some usable cards in that set

first and foremost they are great for people wanting to get in casually

Hate to bump this to the top, but I had 2 friends show up with me that never played for the sneak peak nearly 6 weeks ago, none of us have received product yet.  How much longer should they, and I be expected to wait?  Any ETA would be nice.  If UDE did not recieve info from me please let me know...

Maybe it would have been better to start a new thread in the OP forum.

Just saying you might get more luck there.

    Cheers.
