    Just a heads up.

Our Sunday UDE Store Constructed tournament got 14 people on June 7.

    Was allot of fun.

sunday was fun indeed. But I talked to a couple of the players that frequently play at tuesdays lunch tournament and they said the prize support was better for the lunch time tournament.

I think it should be the same unless they have more players and/or are paying more to play.

    What is the difference?

Where was the start time posted for the Sunday event?
    I'm sorry I missed it.

There have been a few times where we all decided to pay more and get more prize support.  When 10 players all add an extra 5 bucks it does add up quick.  Will has always been generous with prize support, and Upperdeck Store is IMO the best place to play in O.C.  This weekend's pre-release is going to be awesome!

They receive more EA's and the prize support goes further down. If I recall, this past sunday, after 3rd place, the only prizes given out were ea gurzuks and oversized hero cards (not counting the door prizes). 1st and 2nd got decent winnings, third received a badge and a tdp booster (or hoa, I forgot). 4th place on didnt win much else (if im wrong, please correct me).

As for tuesdays, for the same exact entry fee, ea's usually go down all the way to 6th or 8th from what I learned. The crowd that played on sunday was even larger than the typical tuesday event, so there should have been more support. Barring my job, i'd rather play on tuesdays, but unfortunately im tied down.

All in all, its good to see the crowd growing.

That's correct, but what seems to be an issue is that when the $5 tuesday event with 8 people receives more prize support that the $5 sunday event with 14 people.

I will talk to William about this.

I do not know what happened before but I know William is a good guy and he does things fairly.

It would be easy to speculate about what happened before but lets focus on what happens from here on out.

I usually run the events and help you guys out with price break (meaning a few more packs here and there)- my employee charged you what you normally should be charged - thus you getting the support you did.  The prizes that UDE sends out are just a part of the prize pool.  If i have any older cards i usually try to add them to the events (these are all kits i paid for in the past and are giving on top of your regular prizes).

It sucks that if a store charges close to regular price (so they can stay in business) players think that they arent really sharing the love.  If they dont pay the rent, there wont be any more love to give in the future. I'm very kind with my players and try to give them additional support when ever i can - especially if they support me more often.  My lunch crew hasent missed a beat (or event since i can remember) and also buy product off of me instead of (un-named/bad for hobby stores warehouse) - which i greatly appreciate.

I'm working next Saturday and will make sure you guys have some solid prize support before i leave.

    thanks for your feedback!
