Seattle, WA 2/15 --> Sealed Fires box & Ethereal Plunderer Loot Card Tourney

Seattle, WA 2/15 --> Sealed Fires box & Ethereal Plunderer Loot Card Tourney
Hey Everyone,
On Feburary 15th (this Sunday), Uncles Games at the Crossroads mall in Bellevue is hosting a tournament where 1st place recieves an Ethereal Plunderer Unscratched Loot Card in addition to several booster packs. The format will be a $15 draft using 3 packs of Drums of War boosters. Prizes will be distributed to everyone who plays.
Registration begins at Noon and the tournament begins at 12:30.

Question: if there are more than 8 people, how will this run? As someone who is possibly going to something else later in the afternoon, I'm not sure that I can make it if it's something like draft, then top8 redraft :( (Tiebreakers with not having an top8 could also be sad).

If there are 12 people or more, we will do two pods. The winners of each pod will play against each other and the winner of that one will choose between the Ethereal Loot card or a sealed box of Fires of Outland.

Yeah, I totally didn't realize that the store had planned this on Super Bowl Sunday till my roommates informed me we would have people over at our place. I'm tempted to postpone it, but we've already sent out all the information to our customers. =/
Hopefully we will be able to do something similar to this again soon.

I hope so too! I'm really glad someone is stepping up to run some local tournaments with good prize support besides just the RCQ's. It should really help the local WoW scene if we have more events to look forward to playing in.

Psh, just have the superbowl on there! I suspect that most people would be fine with postponing it, but I suppose people who don't care about football would be more annoyed. Tragic...

So I talked it over with my manager at the crossroads store. We decided to go ahead and bite the bullet, we are postponing the tournament till Sunday, February 15th. We will still run our normal Sunday tournament however, so if you would like to still come out and join us for a draft, we would love to have you. Prizes will consist of just boosters and the timing will remain the same.
LwoodY2K, it will probably be on at the bar inside the crossroads mall. Unfortunatly we dont have access to a TV in our store =/
