    Anyone going to Paris early?

I'm arriving in the Charles De Gaulle Intl Arpt on 10/14 11:05a.m. and probably staying at St. Christopher's Inn for until the 16th.

Does anyone want to meet up and hang out, test, sightsee, etc?

    Thanks,
    Dane

Re: Anyone going to Paris early?

I'll be out there too, but I don't have my hotel arrangements yet. I found this amazing hostel in the Latin quarter that I might stay at for a few days. I'm also headed to Prague on that Monday (20th) following Worlds, and I'll be back in Paris for a night that Thursday when my flight leaves Friday.

Most important - Does anybody have anybody I can talk to about how to get around in Paris, even moreso from the airport (CDG) into the city?

    You're staying in Montparnasse Will?

I'm staying at the Arcadie there, looks awesome as long as i can get there from CDG and then to the convention centre with minimum difficulty :(

Re: Anyone going to Paris early?

    Hey Brinkman,

The quickest way to get to the convention center is to catch the Air France Bus that will take you to Montparnasse (around 15 euro)Once @ Montparnasse you'll have to get in a subway and stop @ Corentin Celton (metro line 12 direction Mairie d'Issy) Subway is about 1.5 euro. The convention center is about a 5 minute walk from there.

Getting around otherwise a cab is probably your best bet.

    edit:

I'm differently up for seeing the Louvre while out, if anyone else wants to figure out some way to meet up and check it out feel free to msg me. Arriving the morning of the 15th.

Re: Anyone going to Paris early?

It's close to the Eiffel Tower and is pretty ridiculous (as in small and useless :p)

    ~

Best ranking at weekly draft : 4th (5 showed up and I got a bye :D)
Number of weekly drafts : 44 and counting.
0-4 drop at worlds (pairings suck)
Once won a game in DMF, my opponent didn't show up.
