In a shammy deck which is better?  I see everyone running sha'kar but brok does the same damage and has a bigger back end.  I realize that he may die but as ally destruction, no worries. That and brok is better myrium tech.  That and in late game brok is better

Brok is more of a 2 for one because shakar forces you to play something that deals frost fire or nature damage and on turn three he doesn't get ferocity because you don't have enough resource to do extra damage and totems dont work for your hero doing damage, were brok comes out turn for and is a 2-1 and most of the time takes damage and lives, were shakar is a 2-2 and dies if it runs into almost anything, ive done a lot of play testing on the matter and i posted my shaman rush earlier if you want to take a look

Sha'kar is great if you are using mealstrom weapon.  If you are not using it, brok is better, but mealstrom weapon will do the nature damage that you need in order to proc sha'kar.  Turn 3 could be a really good time for killing other things that get in your way before myriam comes out.  Having both brok and sha'kar in a deck almost guarantees you an answer for myriam when she comes out. I don't know how many times I wanted a 4 of to come up in my deck that wouldn't because they were all at turn 7+, it can really frustrate you.  A shaman has many ways to do the required damage on for 1 resource to proc sha'kar on turn 4 so it is a great addition to brok.  Just remember, totems aren't the only thing that shaman's do!

Why not both? At any rate, Sha'kar is more aggressive than Brok since Brok's best use is being a 2 for 1 machine and Sha'kar is most often being thrown at a hero.

Tips on how to get consistent turn 5 losses.

I prefer Brok myself because he stays around longer, however as people have stated, why not use both?

In the land of Myriam, I don't see the down side of running both.  In almost any shaman deck, the damage trigger is not hard to activate (flip, storm shock, death shock, perdition's blade, elements' fury, lightning arc, cracking purge for example in Kil'zin).

the only thing i can say is brok sucks when he can't get that one damage. when playing against solo decks or just some one playing arround you holding 2 broks, he kind of sucks. in shaman i would say more shakir than brok, but then there aren't many decks that are solo anymore..

I think more solo's are going to show up than people think.  I know the whole band of the envitable thing... but just like bringer.. it can be played around... and with all the new aoe I really see more solo's showing up and just eating face... a solo is hard to stop when it can kill you in 5 turns, even with the new stuff out there, a lot of solo's will just rebuild and attack more... but hey thats just my two  cents and I suck..lol

Brok is really an all around better card imho, but LOL RUN BOF if you happen to be a shaman.

nothing new to add but like everyone else said Brok is an ally interaction card beacuse using him as a fireball (unless they are VERY low hp) is kinda tarded. On the other hand, sha'kar is a "wtf 4dmg to the dome" man which will always get traded with the next turn. So if you think about it they are kinda just inverse in order of operations.

sha'kar can't attack turn three 95% of the time.  he costs three and you need at least one more resource to do elemental damage

sha'kar can't attack turn three 99.999%. but at least if opponent don't have allies (and in this shaman this must happens often) - he is better then brok... at least he become possibly more then 4 dmg. (and he not die from paladins hammer)
