in my honest opinion i believe this deck build has become incredibly common. though initially percieved as powerfull i think a few ability removal cards and even just an angelista are able to turn the twig/serpent combo on its head. especially if u start early resource destruction to swing the twig. i just find it a tedious and unimaginative deck to play against and construct.

I agree, while we all know it can tear up under favorable conditions, we proxied it for play testing and it did VERY subpar (40% win). This is just with decks my small group of friends made. For instance my slightly updated blue rush from way back when ( Seadog nally traitor with death traps and few newer cards) had multiple flawless victories against it. yes, angelista will own twig's face. Narthadus is nice too on turn 6.

A troublesome matchup might be against a Frost Mage.
I played against a similar build with my Water Elemental Deck.
The combination of Water Elemental and Voidfire wand arranged for my opponent to scoop twice on turn 5.

Yup, everone without a lot of equipment destruction should have some low cost 'plink' armor or else W.E. and voidfire lock will advance to the next round instead.

For Druids the wastewalker gear should draw away opponent's equipment hate enough to allow shadow stalker sash or predatory gloves.  The gloves help a lot with card advantage.  Getting extra copies late game is awesome suprise tempo.

I can't see why more people don't use them with Angalista.

    Nothing is foolproof
