Well that was fun. Thought I had a good chance playing Plague Demonsoul, but I met the deck it just couldn't handle - Mike's Daspien deck. Lost to it twice, once in swiss, and again in Top4.

Just missed out on the Death Knight Deck Box......grrrrrr...

Remember everyone, Arena Grand Melee madness next Saturday.

And heads up, we're also thinking about having a tourney on Friday July 3rd (as most people will be off work, and tied up on July 4th)

Great games yesterday all around.  Hehe, sorry about the Daspien :), I actually stuck with my dice roll for deck selection this time instead of second guessing it.

We had two new faces in the BG, and three others with WoW cards in the shop.  Hopefully we will see some of them again. 

July 3rd works for me.  I will do my best to be there next Saturday as well (working a nightshift the firday prior- but sleep is for the weak right?). 

 

 

 

No need to be sorry about Daspien. Nice deck. Of course, when I do well in tourneys at C&Js they have T-shirts for top prizes, and when I don't, they have sexy Death Knight deck boxes :(

BTW: Did you end up beating Michael? I know you won game 1, but what happened after?

BTW2: Nice EA Sha'kar and Stormshock. I guess they want more people playing Kil'zin :)

I ended up winning game two as well.  That game had me on edge.  I used both stab in the dark and blade twisting to good effect that last game.  It went to the wire.  His deck is strong, I thought he had me for sure.

Yeah, those EAs are pretty sweet, I hope we see more of those.

We'll probably try to get 2 matches in. Feel free to bring a side deck and side between matches if you want.

Can only attack and target to left and right. Things that affect 'all' only affect you and left and right. Point when player to your left is eliminated for whatever reason.

We'll have one special rule also. If the 'If an Ongoing AGM card is in play, it stays in play for the rest of the game' is played, and the 'You must whisper' card is in play, the 'If an Ongoing..' is shuffled back into the AGM deck and another drawn.

Mike: A question. What were the other EAs, in addition to Sha'Kar and Stormshock?

I think I got 5 EAs all together, stormshock, shakar, rebirth, and I forget what the others were... I'll check when I get home, but I already put them in my notebook, so not sure if I'll be able to remember which ones we got on Saturday.  I am super impressed with our prize support at C and J's, those guys really rock. 

You know, I think we can copy the "You must whisper" text onto the blank event cards if you would like.   Maybe make it a 4 of....?

hehe, I checked.  I'm pretty sure that 4 of the EAs I received were storm shock, shakar, rebirth, forager cloudbloom.  The fifth one, I am not sure about.  

I've been playing my new Moonkin deck over Lackey. It's been kicking some ***, so you guys better watch out!!!

Yeah, it has FoH cards in it.

I've been playing the Holy Priest too.  It's doing well, except the draw is weak.  I'm trying to tweak the quest line up and abilities to fix that.
