I missed the 2-h Ogre Tourney because. . .

    I missed the 2-h Ogre Tourney because. . .

    The person at the store who answered the phone insisted it was on sunday and not on saturday, despite what the website said.


    Ugh.


    Had to drive 45 minutes to get to the place too. . .

    ... I was invited to not one, but deux OMG BBQs IRL on Saturday.  And I'd miss it again if given the chance, I tells ya!

    1. Was broke.

    2. Owe a few of my fellow card floppers money.

    3. Didn't have a partner.

    4. Already have an ogre trinket which I received for free soon after HOA was released.

    5. Decided I would have more fun with my friend at the water park.

    All in all, I never had any desire to participate in the Smash and Bash event.

    Because the only store holding it within a two hour drive of my major metropolitan city decided to cancel it days before  :(

    Because they decided to do limited with the Old Cards and not offer any physical card prizes.

    ..Because I had a premonition that Jesus was coming back, so I stayed home, blazed, and sat back and watched. Needless to say I was upset upon the absense of the carpenter.

    ...Because the prize was not worth an hour long drive, as opposed to the Safari, which I drove 2 and a half for, and would've driven up to 4.
