That's great and all but the objective of online WoW is to have items that make other people jealous, and noones notices or cares about tabards at all. Expect these to be low sellers.

These are nice, but how about another big ticket item along the lines of the ogre trinket?

yeah, you couldn't be more wrong.  believe it or not, there are vanity players who collect things like tabards.  i'll be grabbing all of them when they go live.  doubt they'll take the place of my tabard from "battle of the crimson watch"

I think they'll sell fairly well.  Unlike the fireworks or Ogre suit, it's something you can wear & display at all times.  They're nicer looking and more intricate than the average guild talbard.

At least we forget... they're epic quality items!  You know how much people love to have those purples on their characters... and for many of us, talbard & shirt are the only slots that currently don't have an epic equipped.

Combine all that with the fact that many of us have more points than we know what to do with... and I'll definately be picking up at least one as long as they're not crazy overpriced.

I agree that the purpletext factor is a huge selling point, and as such the tabards' tooltip should be displayed in the pictures to encourage point cashins

Yeah, I am one of those guys..  I have a 16 slot bag in the bank that is actually nothing but tabards and a couple of holiday hats.

Adding more tabards is great. I know I will eventually get them all and swap depending on my gear/mood/season.
