I havn't heard about "100 monkeys" But I totally and utterly believe in memes. I was acually going to get that book The selfish Gene when I was last in Barnes and Noble. Thats the book about that stuff right? I thought it was absolutly amazing. I have read a little bit over the net about the Theory of it and yea it is totally believable, and makes alot of sense scientifically.

I've always wondered what happens to the electricity in our bodies when we die too... I mean, can the electricty mindlessly (or intellectually) travel throughout the world, or area of death, and sort of take advantage of a host? Will a person unconsciously take certain traits of that electricity? I mean obviously electricity is energy and nothing intellegent can exist within it, but where does it go? Does it just dissapate? lol

Oh my god.  Timecube.  Why have I not been in4med sooner.  It all makes sense now.  People are stupid.  My church leaders are going to be held resposible.  One-ists.  I will shatter our faith with holy wisdom into four equal parts and set them into perfect sync.  You hear me magdaline and committed?  You should have never swore me in.  I will blind your eyes with the light and smoke of Timecube.

    Re: Twenty Nine-Thousand-Twenty Nine-Posts

    ahhh,  1100 posts.

Serious topic here, feel free to ignore it.

Has anyone else noticed that there is a poster on this forum that antagonizes hot heads when they are obviously having a bad time?  That person seems to do this every time someone is already mouthing off too much and dilibeatly makes it worse.  It often goes on while I'm trying to talk the person down or calm them and defuse things.

If the person being bullied stands up and fights back suddenly they are banned.  Its seems like the bully runs to a mod and complains that so and so is insulting them and making offensive coments(which they are).

I have seen this a few times now and won't be so rude as to name names, but I just can't believe how a person who is a bully and a snitch can think that they are better then anyone else.

I feel bad for the mods who get manipulated into defending such a "man", bad for the ill tempered community members (who's main flaw is poor impulse control) that get banned, and worse for the sad little "man" that needs to feel superior and only proves his own inferiority because of it.

You know who you are and I do pity you dude.  I'm not just saying that to get a reaction.  I honestly wonder how bad you are messed up that you use such tactics to get the (messed up) things you want.  If I can help you to become a better person then feel free to PM me and I promise not to report you for saying anything you want to.  Let it all out and let me hear it.  I have respect for everyone (yes, even you)  and you should too.

If someone is known for being a rude jerk, then it should not matter that they know how to stop before crossing the line.  If a bully eggs someone on and gets that person to cross the line how is that any different then posting something awful themselves.  Their entire history should be considered not just the degree by which they offend.

If I offend lots of forum members all at the same time by making innapropriate comments then I run the risk of being banned for my wrong actions.  That is fair and just, and must be done to provide a good forum.  If I make thousands of rude posts to hundreds of members in seperate instances then how is that any different?   I feel that it is worse because of the calculation and premeditation involved.  Not to mention that the bully knows they are doing something wrong because they are being sly about it.

Just because someone plays it safe by only making mildly offensive comments, then they seem to be able to do so as much as they please.   If someone goes way overboard after being drawn out by a cyberstalker well some of the blame should go to everyone involved.  And if the same person is involved time after time then maybe they are a major part of the problem.

I am offended by this one person being able to make thing so unfriendly around here.  His wit and ablility to make me laugh does nothing to remove the intense distaste I have for what he has gotten away with time and time again.

I am a big boy and don't need anything done about it.  I just want to mention it and I would like everyone to stop tolerating his poor behavior.  We will never know what we have lost because of him.  The internet is a big place and there is much to see and do.  If this weak and insecure guy wants to soil this part of it many people will just go somewhere else.  Some of those people are prolly pretty cool folks.  Again we will never know.

    Alright, sermon over.
    Peace

Yup.  Don't know if there is a rogues gallery or "don't do this" thread to show who or why, but yeah there are even some people I miss sometimes.

The only time I had contact with a mod over something I said was very fair and even kind.  I'm glad my own stupidity didn't weigh too heavily against me.
