    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

Aragorn posted the link several posts back in this thread:
    Aragorn:

That would be a point/crafting card. They have two uses.

    1. You can enter the 9 digit code at ude.com/points and receive 100 UDE points. If you collect enough points you can get some cool items, including items for the online game.

    2. You can collect specific crafting materials and mail them in for crafted cards for use in the TCG. The details of the crafting program can be found at ude.com/recipe

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

    I'm a newb! I'm a newb!

I don't get it about the recipe card turn-in. If I send in cards, I get codes for recipes and materials in the computer game?

For instance, I have a card for a Bolt of Imbued Netherweave. Now, I already know how to make Imbued Netherweave since I'm a tailor so would I be getting an unusual tailoring recipe to add to my patterns? And would I be getting a Bolt of Imbued Netherweave also? Or is this something weird for the TCG? I don't imagine professions are part of the TCG but having never played, I don't know.

And if these are part of the computer game, I have a card for an Earthstorm Diamond. Would I be getting an Earthstorm Diamond and a recipe to cut it? And would the recipe be BOP or could I get it to a jewelcrafter to cut the diamond for me?

Questions, questions. Told you I was a newb. THANKS!

PS My cards have June 2008 on them from the Servants of the Betrayer. Does this mean they expire after June 2008 or I can't turn them in until June 2008? THANKS AGAIN!

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

Here's how the crafting program works for the TCG. The crafting program is something unique to the TCG. You don't get any crafting materials or recipes for the MMO.

What you can get are special crafted cards for the TCG. For example, if you mail in 8 Primal Shadow cards, 8 Primal Air cards, 3 Heavy Knothide Leather cards, 5 Cobra Scale cards and 1 Primal Nether card, they will mail you back a Cobrascale Hood card.

The crafting system is supposed to mirror the online version, but it is wholly separate.

Hopefully that clears up your confusion.

Little confused, also have this card, know of the links pointed out and have looked but none of the recipes for bracers etc have this item listed for use. Am I just blind and not looking properly?

If you got it in a Servants of the Betrayer booster, you often get material cards that aren't used yet. New recipes will be made relatively soon that makes use out of the gems, lotus and such.

    Re: HELP!!!

Sorry if this has already been brought up and answered.  I dont have the time to re-read the 6 pages of this thread.

Has UDE updated the amount of crafting mats we can send in per envelope?  With FOO we could only send mats for 2 crafted epics per envelope.  It was talked about bumping the number up to the amount for 4 crafted cards.  Was that finalized?

It would be great if we could send in a box of the crafting mats.  UDE what are your thoughts on this?  Like If I was crafting 4x of each new released crafted epic, I have to send UDE 6 envelopes with 6 self addressed and paid return envelopes.  It would make things easier for the players if we could instead send UDE 1 box with the mats for 12 crafted cards and include 6 self addressed and paid envelopes within the box.  The person/player sending in the cards should have all of the materials organized/separated in accordance to what is needed per crafted epic.  I rubberband the mats together for each epic I'm crafting.

    RE: Crafting Redemption Program Details

Yes, they have raised it to 4 redemptions per envelpoe, and they have also said if you want to send in for 50+ cards (think group strategy here), that you could email them and they would send the cards back by Fed Ex.

Question of the day from me is:

Will there be a chance to redeem cards in person at either Origins or Gencon?

An inquiring mind wants to know!

So Mike posted today that we can start sending in for the 3 SOTB crafting cards.

However, the order form sheet is not updated with the 3 new cards

UDE----Do we need one? Can we make our own?

I'm confused. The cards like Primal life and Skyfire Diamond can't be used in the online game but is used for the card game, right? So are they useless for the online game or not?

You can still redeem the code on the card for 100 UDE points. Then, you can use those UDE Points to purchase any number of items, including in-game items for your MMO character.

    Re: Crafting Redemption Program Details

i'm kinda bummed. i was under the impression there would be one or two recipes for in game useless toys. like a remote controlled Kodo or a cloth chest that glows in three alternateing colors. i'm only collecting cards in hopes of a rare loot card. i was psyched about the recipes thinking i wasn't completely wasteing my money. maybe in the future you'll add something for the other people like me that don't actually play the card game but buy the cards.
