I ran into the same problem as you initially.  It seems that the AVG Resident Shield was somehow blocking the exe file.  Just open the AVG Control Panel, go to Resident Shield Properties and disable it.  Run the patch, then re-enable the Resident Shield.  Hopefully that should work.

The creator of the wowtcgdraft.com website has now added an option to let you download your draft deck into MWS.  MWS can now have draft tournaments!!!  For those who don't have it:

Hey Tiny, I have figured out how to create the masterbase and custom sets. I am thinking of overhauling all of the cards and putting all the correct information with better images and proper spelling. Do you know how to modify the filters? Because right now the only thing I can do is filter to horde and alliance

The custom sets are nearly completed.  I'm just doing some proofing before I release them.  The problem with custom sorting is that MWS does not recognize WoW card types, and as such, each card must be prefaced with types such as "creature", "artifact" and so on.  However, the new databases will include cards numbers.  A simple column sort by number will put everything in order then.

Well, the only way we could do a filter method would be too complex in searching for the people who need it. In the end, I suggest wowtcgdb.com

Hey I am a bit overwhelmed here...I am trying to get into the TGC but without playing with someone else its somewhat difficult to understand the rules, is this MWS thing supposed to simulate a game or something?  I don't have time to go to that link and do everything you said on your first post, but I was just wondering what this is and if it will help me learn this game, since it looks fun, but some of the things on the instruction booklet seem confusing.

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

You can play WoW TCG through this program online against other players, however they usually have no patience and are dicks and probably would be unwilling to teach you how to play. I wouldn't recommend this unless you have some basic concept of the rules. However, you could use it and play how you think you are supposed to until someone corrects you, then you can ask your question in the rules forum.

I was successfully able to patch MWS. Thank you very much for your post. ^___^

Also I question in regards to playing the game; (Currently getting used to in solo testing mode) how would you:
    - Simulate remove from play stuff? (Like from Eye of Kilrogg)
    - Searching effects of "The Missing Diplomat"?
    - Remove those red arrows when declaring an attack?

    Thanks in advance.

    Awesome!

We have to get some of us together and start doing this. Maybe have a draft night each week, or even run leagues/tournaments. I'm in!

Re: MWS - A complete guide to playing WoW Online.

Monday nights are the nights the game store I play at is closed.  So usually I am online playing games while watching Monday Night Football.  I say lets introduce a Monday Night Draft.  I'll propose a 7PM (EST) start time.  Any takers?

I'm not usually one to agree with Void but I've tried OCTGN and onlinetcgame.com and I like MWS the best. Since I can't use OCTGN anymore, MWS is my default program to use.

Void, MWS just crashed on me and gave me a .dll error. Either that or I'm leaving you with a win. =)
