Mr CCG cards, you really need to get your tourneys sanciton (spelled horrible wrong).

    Link to judge test:

I made it to the 2005 Yugioh Nationals cause I was in the top 100 in USA (number 3 in PA and like 87th in USA at the time).  I am a ratings whore and I want to be the very best!  I am hoping to get into nationals in WOW, so be nice if I can start working on my rating if I happen not to win it from a regionals/Dark Moon Faire

    Link again:

See Parker, it's not only me wanting Sanctioned events.  How do you think I made Star Wars Nationals 3 years in a row?  Because we had sanctioned tournaments each week and I had a high rating.

Plus sanctioned events get us better prizes and more people.   So please, for the love of god, get it done.

Plus, I see no post/info for tomorrow yet... how much, what time, best of 1/3?  Get on the ball, man!

Tonight is light up night, so fair warning to anyone who has to drive downtown it may be a little ridiculous.

Last I heard there were no other sanctioned tournies to be held until after the first of the year.  This is  after the initial release tourney that is.

Then you misheard false info.  People already are getting ranked points from non premire events (that means card shop tournies).  You can check out people's rankings at www.ude.com/op and go under ratings on the sidebar.

So, does CCG know yet how the Saturday Onyxia event will be run?  How much, what time, ect?

    These things are important!

Re: Gaming in Pittsburgh? Lets get it going with this one!

The time of the event has always been advertized as a 1pm start. I'm still a bit in the dark as to how to run it, but it looks like 3 participants, paying $10 each, will face someone playing as Onyxia.

Also, I'm pleased to announce a $15 entry fee tournament on December 9th starting at 1PM. First prize will be an iPod Shuffle!!!

We will also be continuing the WoW league on Wednesdays and Fridays in December, with prizes TBA, but likely to include alternate art cards (and not necessarily Parvinks).

Re: Gaming in Pittsburgh? Lets get it going with this one!

Of course, this Saturday's event is dependent upon my receiving of the Raid decks. I know that UPS is not delivering on Friday except for Air shipments. I have no idea if FedEx is delivering Friday or not. Upper Deck uses FedEx to ship my stuff to me, and the delivery guy usually hits me at the end of his run, so if I don't see him today, I'm not holding out much hope for Saturday. I already have an event scheduled for next Saturday (Dreamblade demo), but we can discuss possibilities tonight during league.

Re: Gaming in Pittsburgh? Lets get it going with this one!

OK, I have new information. The Raid decks have officially been pushed back until the 30th, so Saturday's event will end up being a Constructed tourney. With Dreamblade scheduled for the 2nd, we will move the IPOD TOURNAMENT to the 23rd, and put the Raid on the 9th. Hopefully this will be the last change to the schedule. Again, we will continue to have Wednesday and Friday league play at the store.

    Sorry about the confusion,

    John

Re: Gaming in Pittsburgh? Lets get it going with this one!

BIG NEWS! We now have sanctioning!

See you all tonight for the final league night in November, where we give the points winner the official playmat. If you can't make it, please remember that we are continuing to have events on Wednesdays and Fridays in December.

Also, as a reminder/update, we are having a raid event on December 9th, a constructed tournament on the 16th WITH ALTERNATE ART PRIZES, and a constructed tournament on the 23rd where first place receives an iPod Shuffle!

Keep checking our website, www.ccgscards.com, for news.

Oh, joy. You just had to know that it'd be a matter of time until the spam advertizers hit the forums.
