Ok, gimpyaggie, seeing as how you live here in Texas, you didn't need to send an email to UDE to get a UDE number. There are 2 WoW events coming up in your area in January. Both of which will allow you to get a UDE number.

Hobby League Beta Jan 6th and 7th.

    Regionals Jan 13th.

Re: Becoming a Certified WoW Judge

    Hi,

I have recently pass the judge test.. so now i wait for the card to be mail to me right??

Then i recall something mention about the online cert. Where can i look for that or is it just the email stating that i pass?

    Thanks

Re: Becoming a Certified WoW Judge

There is no "online cert", per se.  However, every time you pass a certification exam, it shows up in your profile on the UDE Site (the one that you logged into in order to take the Lv1 judge test), so you can show people that if you want.

The email that says you passed is also something you can use to "prove" you passed until you get your UDE judge card.

    Hope this helps!

Re: Becoming a Certified WoW Judge

So far there is not a WoW regional being hosted in Utah and my local store Game Grid is working on hosting one.  I'm the person that will be judging tournaments on Saturdays, level 1 in WoW, Vs, Tournament organizer, and Player management.  Am I qualified to run a WoW regional?  And if I can how many assistant judges do I need?  If not, what is required to run one?

It sounds like you need to get in touch with the PTO for your area and find out why they aren't doing WoW.  They would be the people that normally hold the Yugioh and VS tournaments.

Re: Becoming a Certified WoW Judge

Well, that settled that.  Only the PTO, I'm assuming it is something tournament organizer, can schedule regional. So there will be no regional in Utah.

I believe that the PTO over here is someone from The Black Rose down in Murray, I don't know.

How would I go about finding that the PTO is and getting hold of him/her?

PS. I checked the tournament finder for regional and I found no regional in Utah for anything. So no luck finding the PTO that way.

Re: Becoming a Certified WoW Judge

I filled in the form, send the mail and got this reply a few hours later:

    Your UDE number is *********.

Your password has been sent in a separate email, you should see it right before this one.

If you don't see it, please check your junk mail/spam folder.

    Thanks,

The problem is, there is no mail with the password (Yes, I checked all my folders)

I tried to have my information send to me by filling in my email address, and it said it send an email to me (No error, so I am registered, right?) Also I replied the above mail with the question to send my password again.

But alas, that was a long time ago, and I still haven't received any email from ude.

What should I do to get my password asap?

    Thx

Send another email to the original email address you sent your request to and let them know that you never got the email with your password.

    Hope this helps!

Just so everyone knows, if you have a UDE number, but have not recieved your UDE account and password in order to access the Judge Certification Tests, you should do the following:

Send an email to player@upperdeck.com and tell them that you have registered and have a UDE number, but you have not received a password for your UDE account yet.  They want your personal information in your email so they can set you up in their system.  You should get an email back in about a week.

I´m trying to do that but I keep getting the message host smtp not found.

    socketfailure 11001, failure 0x800CCC0D.

So for some reason I cannot access the site. Now I´ve no clue, what´s the problem here?? Anybody into programs enough to help out? Please respond and thx for the trouble.
