Normally for best two out of three tournaments, each round has a time limit of one hour.  So an 5-8 person tournament should last about 3 hours, 9-16 person tournament should last about 4 hours, 17-32 people should last about 5 hours and so on.  For single game matches, which they might do for sealed since it will most likely be brand new players, each round has a time limit of 30 minutes.

Well, BR, those are the fantasy times, that's for sure. It's more like:

1 hr of playing time. 15 minutes for the EOM procedures in one of the matches. 5 minutes to get everything squared away and pairings for the next match. So, it's more like 1hr 20 minutes per round (which was what he was getting at).

    Cheers.

Man Utd to retain the Premiership!!
Latest result: Man Utd 5 Stoke City 0 (Yeah!!!)
My most recent High Level result: 3-4 DMF Anaheim

So can anyone spoil what the "Darkmoon Faire Carnival" has in store for us?  i.e: Should we bring Constructed decks opposed to Block decks (or vice versa)?

BlizzCon is not a traditional 'Darkmoon Faire' stop, but there will be Organized Play.

Most of these events will be sealed.  The few constructed events will just be regular constructed.  You will not need Block format decks.

There should be a schedule for events posted in the near future.

The near future should be now... We're leaving tomorrow. :p

Events are the same both days (Friday and Saturday).

You can pick one event one day, and do something different Saturday.

Also, the sealed miniatures Organized Play will be very neat since you get to keep your figures.

You definition of near future and Blizzard's are completely different.  Thanks for the quick update.

    Re: BlizzCon... are you going?

    Thanks,

    Next question:

Crafting Redemption- when does it start? My constructed deck depends on it.

Thanks for this.  Also, Blizzard refers to the OP as the "Darkmoon Faire Carnival"

    Hey,

    Antonio - toniocity
    Matt - Sonor

You two should make sure you meet at at Blizzcon. Maybe play in the 2 Headed Ogre!

I know you both and think you would get on great.

    Re: BlizzCon... are you going?

Roshen, last year there was a WoW TCG Q&A (You guys gave me a Goblin Gumbo there ^^ )   When I was looking at the Blizzcon schedule (http://www.blizzard.com/blizzcon/faq/schedule.xml) I noticed it wasn't up there.  Are there any plans to have one this year?

There are no plans to run any sort of trivia contest at the Upper Deck booth this year.

We will have the carnival games set up.  The set up will be very similar to that of DMF: New Jersey on Sunday, and "The Wheel" will be present at BlizzCon.

You're actually referring to the panel that was heald last year regarding the TCG, correct? There was early talk about doing another one, but unfortunately, I think it just got cut for space/time issues.
