I am hoping that the information for the Realm Championship is posted earlier this week.

    That doesn't make sense...

Earlier rather than later this week.

I really should have Marketing go over my posts.

Have you considered paying your tournaments more than us (Europeans) because your boxes are just dirt cheap and your hobby stores aren't making any money out of em so they charge tournaments more?

Anyway, I really think that the price support shouldn't have anything to do with tournament entry cost.

UDE should give away price support to develop their game and make it more popular, they shouldn't be making EAs to "sell" tournaments $20.

Commons EA from Battlegrounds just cost as much for UDE than EA Ishanah or whatever...

P.S : Not sure I make much sense, hope you'll get the ideas anyway.

The stores don't get the money for these events, it goes to the TO for the area.  For a battlegrounds event, the stores can charge whatever they want, and it is usually a good bit less than the "official" UDE events.

Afaik in Europe we don't have PTOs (at least not in France), they are the ones screwing you guys up I guess.

Best ranking at weekly draft : 4th (5 showed up and I got a bye :D)
Number of weekly drafts : 44 and counting.
0-4 drop at worlds (pairings suck)
Once won a game in DMF, my opponent didn't show up.

Re: Error in Realm Qualifier Prizes

I have heard alot of players in my area complain about the entry and prizing,

    1. the selection for the EA's is horrible. Not one of the EA's is worth much or played much especially the First place EA which most consider worthless. Im really upset that UDE could not  have picked better EA's. They could have at least chosen cards from the new set let alone chose cards that players actually want and use 4 of in their decks so that the cards are more wanted.

    2. the prizing is watered down so that very few players recieve anything for playing, even if a player comes in the higher half of the final standings they walk away with most likely nothing which i wouldn't mind as much if the higher end prizing was better making the chance at doing obtaining it  worth the cost.

    3. Only the top 2 players recieve qualification for the champs so assuming a region has a total of 10ish events that means that a max of 20 players can attend the champs which seems a bit low expecially compared to the last realms champs. I would probably change that to at least the top 4 are qualified. Another option: those of you from VS system remember the PC points, basically depending on where you place in the event you recieve a given amount of points, when you accumulate 10 points or X points you are qualified for the champs, this way players can simply play in several events and obtain enough points to play in the main event which gives them a reason to play in several events.

We have to consider the effort that each player puts into attending an event. They have to make time, create a deck, and spend money on food and gas to attend these events and we need to show them that we appreciate that effort by improving the quality and quantity of the prizes.

I personally would love to understand the logic that went into selecting the 4 EA's that were created for this event as i clearly cannot see the reasoning for picking any of these cards.

You must understand i want these events to succeed so i wish to make UDE aware if what needs to change to do that.

I fear that after the first event no one will want to show up for the following ones.
