Sneak Peaks - Recommended Booster Prize Support

Been searching all over the place (including the files over at the UDE forums) and can't for the life of me find any documentation as to how many boosters are supposed to be given out at certain events. Is there a definite guideline in place? I'm thinking specifically for pre-releases this weekend because I'm wary of some TOs holding on to cheap sneak peak stock and then reselling it at full retail value rather than giving out the appropriate amount of boosters to players.

All I really want is a guide of sorts. X boosters per player or something equivalent, but that is part of official UDE guidelines.

This probably isn't going to be very helpful, but I remember seeing a chart at some point with this info on it. I know the TO at Realm Champs had it as we used it to hand out prizes, but I can't find it anywhere. I'd imagine that the Sneak Preview kit comes with instructions on what prizes to hand out based on attendance, and you can ask your TO to take a look at that.

They gave me some judge levels or something, too...

    Pack prize breakdown:

    0-4 players:
    1st: 6
    2nd: 2

    5-8 players:
    1st: 8
    2nd: 4
    3rd/4th: 2

    9-12 players:
    1st: 8
    2nd: 6
    3rd/4th: 3
    5th/6th: 2

    13-16 players:
    1st: 10
    2nd: 6
    3rd/4th: 4
    5th-8th: 2

    17-20 players:
    1st: 10
    2nd: 8
    3rd/4th: 5
    5th-10th: 2

    21-24 players:
    1st: 12
    2nd: 8
    3rd/4th: 6
    5th-8th: 3
    9th/10th: 2

Also, 1st gets their choice of playmat or deckbox, 2nd gets their choice of playmat or deckbox, and the remaining playmats and deckboxes are supposed to be door prizes (though I could see handing them to 3rd/4th at higher turnout events or whatnot).

Since 1st (maybe top 4) get stuff like deckboxes and playmats may I suggest something that our PTO use to do.

    Everyone gets 1 booster min.

Usually went along the lines of

    0-1 win = 1 booster
    2 win = 2 boosters
    3 win = 3 boosters
    4 wins = 4 boosters

    Everyone seemed to enjoy this.

Re: Sneak Peaks - Recommended Booster Prize Support

The PTO we used to have for our area did the same thing--prizes based on record, not standing. However, the new Sneak Preview kits specifically say to distribute pack prizes according to a table (which I posted). I supposed if you had extra packs left over after handing out the recommened prize support, you could hand those out as prizes on top of the recommended distribution.
