Simple Question: Let's say my hero is dealt with fatal damage. Can i destroy Cinnamon Roll in response to heal myself, before the damage is dealt? I heard that it is not legal, as hero cannot heal from fatal damage. Can this be considered as not healing from fatal damage, but healing before receiving damage that would be otherwise fatal?

i believe you can heal yourself before you take the damage. thus letting you live ^^

You can heal before the damage is dealt.
So before the combat conclusion that would kill you.
Or while the ability/power that would kill you is still on the chain.
eg You have 5 health left. Opponent taps Myriam to deal 5. In response you heal 10 with roll. You heal 10 (back down to 15 health remaining), then take 5. You have 10 health remaining.

Combat damage as such doesn't use chain, so you can't do it "in response". But you can heal your hero in the defend window of the combat step. This happens before the damage packet has been created/dealt.

Damage that goes to the chain (like from non-continuous powers) can be responded to, but remember that you can't heal over the maximum health (hardly relevant for a hero but could be relevant for an ally).

You're right. I wrote before combat conclusion, as you heal when the opponent declares the attack, or in the defend window.
When I used in response, it was referring to Myriam's power.
