The end of the Rock/Paper/Scissors debate.
Ladies and gents, we have solved the eternal dilemma of who wins the competition. The answer is... None of them! That's because an old favorite has returned to town to wreak havok on the Hill.
Back in Black, er, Green, ah whatever; 24 Honor Archmage Arugal -You too Shall Serve -Arcane Flux -Battlecast Pants Bleakheart Hellcaller x2 -Santuria x2 -Fear/Death Coil -Corruption x2 -Dark Portal
YTSS handles everything that matters. Ice Block, Bulwark, Foreman's Reinforced Helmet, you name it, it fixes it. And when you have the hill, Arugal's crit equals 2 VPs. Having a spawn point next to the hill certianly won't hurt either.
Sarcastic remarks should come in a different color. Then the forums would be more interesting to look at.

Re: The end of the Rock/Paper/Scissors debate.
I don't see how you could play 2 warlocks and not side in a Piztog, which creates an auto-win vs BIG and Velen Wall. You could probably get away with a single Corruption...
And Amalars don't tick up, so that would blow a big part of the strategy.
Curaigh and I were discussing something very similar using Storm Rager in place of the second Bleakheart.
I wanted to give everyone a list of all the trustworthy people who traded with me on this site, but it exceeds maximum character length. To me, that's a hopeful sign.

Eh. Vashj beats it pretty badly.

This is starting to look like a trend, Ben. I post something, and then you contradict it. I feel like I have a fan. ;)

How did I contradict you? I was just pointing out that Jeriatric's team doesn't beat scissors, Vashj.
Believe me, if Arugal was playable on this map, who do you think would do it?

Re: The end of the Rock/Paper/Scissors debate.
To be honest with you I am not sold on Arugal as an auto loss to either of the mentioned teams. This could be clear evidence of my merely fringe sanity. Ogres was thought to be an auto win against Arugal, but that didn't prove to be the case. YTSS stills ticks up Amalar for 4, and deals 2 damage to him to boot via former teamates Sulfuras. And a Crushridge Ogre could really put a hurting on Vashj, along with getting ticked up for 6. Oh, and after some consideration, I think that I would definitely go with Death Coil over Fear, and replace one of the Corruptions with Curse of Agony for minis that need to be double DoTted. If only I could fit Counterspell in there. And no, I would not use Piztog to sit on the VP spot. Period.

Re: The end of the Rock/Paper/Scissors debate.
YTSS on Crushridge for his T6 attack is an auto-death for Arugal, as it ticks him up 7 and eliminates Ice Block as an option. Better to use the ogre's T4 M6 attack, hope for the crit, and pray that you can burn 1 tick before Vashj lays into Arugal.

Congrats to all who played today... Ben Isgur(Arugal/Bleakheart/EFS) ... with Ben Isgur Taking the Finals and becoming the New Azshara Minis Realm Champion.
God you're full of [crap], Ben. Talking mad [crap] about this dudes team then playing Arugal. That's cold.

Re: The end of the Rock/Paper/Scissors debate.
What I said was entirely true. The team doesn't beat Vashj, and, if it was playable on this map, who would play it but me?
I'm quote careful with what I say, Sethy.

Re: The end of the Rock/Paper/Scissors debate.
The point I walked away with was that the second Bleakheart made the team uncrownable on the king of the hill map.
Isgee seemed to prove that a well-paintedly badass EFS was the key to his victory.
Cheers!

Re: The end of the Rock/Paper/Scissors debate.
Ok, most of you know already, but Arugal Bleakhearts was not my creation. I did think that it would be workable and fun on this map, but it was a surprise to see Ben use Arugal, lol. I have had zero time to play lately, so EFS was a totally novel idea to me. I wouldn't mind someone filling me in on what the EFS brought over the other BH. Grats Ben.
