    A few rules confusions...

I basically know most of the rules of this game, but I'm going to the world tournament tomorrow to play a few simpler mini-tournaments, and would like some help.

1.) In a 3v3 match, you can have 9 abilities... how many abilities is the maximum on each character, and how many equipments is maximum on each character?
2.) When do debuffs wear off if the amount of time is not specified on the card?

    Re: A few rules confusions...

    1.  Basically you can bring 3 cards per character, so in a 3v3 its nine cards total.  You may only PLAY two per character, but you may have only two cards for one character of a class, and four cards for another.  You can have 2 equipment cards on a character as long as they aren't the same equipments and the equipments match that class of character.

Example: Your Warrior character brings Charge and Cleave, while your Warlock brings Summon Jhuroon, Corruption, Death coil, and Hellfire.  Your Mage brings Iceblock, Flamestrike and Blink.  The total is nine cards, but the Warrior brought 2 and the lock has 4.

    2.  If Debuffs dont specify when they drop (most of the time its remove at ticks 5/10 or other appointed time) they remain indefinatly or till the character dies.

Example:  Curse of Agony will remain on the debuffed character till the character dies or is removed by a card like Cleanse, continuing to stack counters at ticks 5/10.

Wait so you have those cards face down for that match and can only flip over 2 (in essence use 2)? It was from my understanding you decide which 2 to use for that character when you see what minis your opponent is using, hence making more sense with the variety of things. Sorry no tournaments here in SC =C

    Re: A few rules confusions...

Your side deck consists of 9 cards that may, or may not, apply to any of the characters you have in your party.

Once you have seen the characters in your opponent's party, you then choose up to 2 ABCs for each of your characters and place them in the Action Bar of that character.  Any ABCs not chosen to be used in the game remain in your side deck and are not accessed in any way during the game.

Ok that's what my impression was of all of this, I just see it difficult picking which ABCs to use when you'd generally have a set pair for your strategy. Thank you for a concrete definition.
