    Janktober

Just an idea i had while driving into work, was wondering if someone wouldn't mind punching it full of holes.

Elanna x2 with MT and Fury
Vi'gor with Cat form and Rejuv

So after the pets are on board, tick 4 everyone is healing 1, then again healing 1 on tick 7, not to mention the four "+1 damage" and extra attack on each of those ticks.

Typically, I find people run and hide like sissy little girls when someone lines up a series of Master Tact attacks on a given tick. Good luck with it. Personally, still love Elanna.

    Cheers!

    /em agree

Elanna is by far my favorite hunter in the game.  I don't think this neccessarily has holes to punch through it, let alone who would do that when you are driving, but I wonder how it will fare against high armor teams, like wall.  Let us know if you play though please!

    Re: Janktober

Given, World's was a specific format, but I'm pretty sure that 2x Elanna figured prominently there.  I'm also pretty sure that Jaina was necessary to make it happen (in place of Vi'gor) to add magic damage in situations where armor was too high for Elanna and pets (Derek used Bloodclaw exclusively) to do more than scratch.

I did a poor job of representing the Horde in this tactic, playing 2x Azarak with a Soulseeker-packing Daxin.  Looking back, I wish I had a local BG to farm at least 1 Viper Sting from, as Jaina ended up being a frequent opponent.  I'm still convinced that the party is uber-viable, if not T1.  If you have the time, give it a shot.

    Azarak Wolfsblood x2
         Call Fury x2
         Call Bloodclaw
         Master Tactician x2
         Viper Sting

    Daxin Firesworn
         Soulseeker
         Shadowburn
         Corruption

My World's party replaced Shadowburn with Summon Piztog so he could sit on their spawn point in the event of a flag run, and as I already stated I was without Viper Sting (I settled for a second Call Bloodclaw - not sure where my mind was).

If you add it up, it's 17 honor or 20 if you play Soulseeker.  Strangely, it's beautiful against Mortimers, as it's cheaper (no SS in that match-up) and throws a whole lot of physical dice from Azarak and the pets (not to mention giving them a taste of their own medicine with Corruption from Daxin).  Don't forget that the Azarak crits tag a Move -1 counter on the defender (and yes, they stack).  Just be sure to time it right because they go away at the end of 5 and 10.

I wanted to give everyone a list of all the trustworthy people who traded with me on this site, but it exceeds maximum character length. To me, that's a hopeful sign.

    Re: Janktober

Heading back to the original idea, your party is pretty well balanced.  Hunters for dps, and a druid for healing.  Master Tactition would work well for your hunters, and maybe be somewhat helpfull for your druid getting into place, but his crit does not really take advantage of the instant crit move unless he is involved in a very specific action combo, which would require a great deal of accurate timing.

Additionally, as aformentioned, Vi'gor lacks substantial damage output, which means your party is mostly specialized in producing physical damage, which would run into serious altercations when versing a party of high defense paladins that can easily heal themselves.  Also, there is no way for your party to mitigate damage aside from the fact of having the pets.  Elanna fares well in ranged combat, but when heavy melee hitters start to concentrate on her, this party cannot force a pet or even Vi'gor to absorb the impact and keep Elanna protected for continuous shots.  For this, I would suggest having at least one Elanna with Old Bones and/or maybe replacing Cat Form with Bear Form.

Unless you mean Tranquility, which is the one tick, channel healing ability, Rejuvination is a restoration buff that heals one ally two health on ticks 5/10.  This would be a good card for this party if there were some way to ready it again in the same round.  Rejuvination would work well on Vi'gor, since he is a pretty tough character, but since it can only be cast on an individual miniature, only one Elanna can get it, therefore the enemy would concentrate his/her attacks on the non-buffed one.  On the other hand, were you to include Tranquility, that would mean the party would have to remain stationary in order for maximum healing to occer.  This means that enemies can close the range between themselves and the hunters, which is not good for Elanna.

Essentially, as with most parties, this one has some flaws.  However, luck is always an ally when she chooses you over your opponent.  After all, if you are lucky enough to roll five damage with both Elannas, or pretty close to that, you are doing a total of about ten damage per turn, and if concentrated on one enemy, chances are they will not last very long.  Additionally, this party would probably fare really well against low armor parties, since such large amouts of physical attacks would ravage one armor minis.  Along with that, this party's resist is not so terrible against average magical attacks.

    Re: Janktober

Viper Sting becomes the hero against Zoo.  If your meta sees Zoo fielded frequently, you may be better off dropping one of the pets from the side to add a second copy, as eliminating GWE and one of the double Fury assaults can turn the tide for you.  In this situation, ADAs 6 less honor puts a terrific amount of pressure on Zoo.

I've called it team DAZZle since we first saw Daxin.  I did well with it one BG night, but never at anything serious.
