    Limited Skills - Fel Magics

    Limited Skills - Fel Magics

With that, we don’t have any Ice Lances or Snipes, but we do hopefully have a strong array of allies and quests. We can also bank on the fact that no other player should be considering Warlock, especially if we were able to table the one Rain of Shadows that was floating around.

    80 Horde Priest - Tichondrius
    80 Alliance Rogue - Icecrown

I think this is a great article for the information it provides. Personally, i think warlock is one of the few limited classes that i would be disappointed in playing. That being said, this article gave me pause to evaluate my reasonings (whether they are legit or poor) on the whole of warlock as a class.

The information in the article also helps to develop a plan for drafting a class. If you are taking a suspended curse early, do you know what else warlock has and when to expect it? Also, if you have 2 picks in the pack that arent allies/resources, which do you take?

I'm interested in knowing if Paul Batum drafted a certain class, while picking up a few warlock cards late in drums, continued to draft the non warlock class in blood (only got a dark justice), and 1st/2nd pick hesriana forced him to jump back over to warlock, along with the wand.

Great stuff. Curious as to what "the other direction of power" will lead us toward. Mage? or Hunter?

I believe he mentioned Priest is next because of all the discussion it caused.

I would consider Warlock one of the weaker classes, but this was interesting to read nonetheless. I agree that nothing in DoW screams Warlock. This, I believe, will keep Warlock underdrafted. There are several classes with cards that you can pick up any card and have at least a decent build. Warlock takes patience, luck, and maybe even some premeditation. This is not to say there are not good Warlock cards. Brad has pointed out the best of them, but most of them push you into other classes.

Thank you for another excellent article.

I ended up playing Warlock at our last draft by the very path described in the article.
I picked an early Engulfing Blaze and continued to look into Mage and Warlock.
Not many Mage cards where coming my way, but I picked a Dominate and a couple of Dark Justices and Phase Hounds.
Overall I was very happy with my deck.
