Hello all!
Presently there is a Battlegrounds event 7:00pm every friday evening at Bell Book & Comic in Dayton. We get 6-12 players showing up, and we have the battleground kits and run sanctioned tournaments. We have some competitive players, but on the whole we are very easy going and willing to do do demos, practice games, and loan out characters and cards for the evening. If you are a younger player and want to bring your mom or dad and learn/play the game, come on down!
To celebrate Spoils of War we will be running sealed events thursday, friday and sunday after the release. At 6:30 thursday the 7th, I will be running a two booster sealed for $30.00 at KrystalKeep in Kettering, with additional boosters for prizes. At 7:00 friday the 8th we will have a two booster sealed event at Bell Book for $30.00, with prize support from the battlegrounds kit and additional boosters to the winners. At 12:30 sunday the 10th Steve Mayne is running another sealed event, at Bookery in fairborn, in the same format. All three stores can be googled for location and phone numbers.
On saturday the ninth we plan on going over to Indianapolis and taking all the prizes at BaptistDesign's event. Hopefully some of the Indy guys can come over and take some of our prizes too...
Altogether the weekend could run $90.00, or six boosters, but if you wait till the tourney to buy product you could win additional minis and boosters, getting more for your money. So save up, come out and play!
