There are quite a few tier one parties which aren't even mentioned in the first post, I think it's time for an update.

A new thread would probably be better as the whole of this was dedicated to the Core Set (as per the title).  Though, rereading it can be enlightening as the opening post contains language that suggests triple harukas are a "Extremely pricey" team at 24 honor.

Heh. That's more like 'mid-range' these days. ;)

Someone needs to dig up the early Equipment threads. People were saying nobody would ever play them because 2 Honor and a card was too much to pay.

Is there any chance of bringing this thread back and updating it with the current figures. I won't claim to have the knowledge or resources to undertake something like this but I did enjoy it and was always looking forward to its revival.

A number of things have changed about the meta throughout the year, and I find it challenging to pick up a Gauntlet thread.

Most of the serious teams are play-testing in secret or openly on vassal, so If I had some reporters gathering information about the field, I'd certainly get back into the swing of things.

For realms, Camping, Killing, and Both are the kinds of teams to expect. I can't think of very many teams that can effectively kill and/or camp well enough to clear everything, but some teams do it better than others. the best teams will be the ones that kill a fair share of certain match-ups and camp through the rest.

Breakthrough will see play, Iceblock will see play, Equipment will see lots of play, and characters and/or abcs that break equipment will see lots of play.

It gets even harder to create a tri-color gauntlet, but some staples will see a lot of testing. A few parties, like the following have seen the earliest forms of boards discussion already:

Vashj/Savin/X
Kael/Savin/X
Arugal/Isgee/Isgee
