    Blue Shamanistic Dual Wield

    4x of all of these

    Combo: 12
    Shamanistic Dual Wield
    Coif of the Wicked
    Corki's Ransom

    Kill: 28
    Retainer's Blade
    Perdition's Blade
    Rockbiter Weapon
    Maelstrom Weapon
    Whispering Blade of Slaying
    Storm Shock
    A Warm Welcome

    Control: 8
    Stoneclaw Totem
    Crackling Purge

    Recursion: 4
    Sunken Treasure

    "deal with it": 8
    Myriam Starcaller
    Leeroy Jenkins

    SB
    Earth-Shock x4
    "Scrapper" Ironbane x3
    Gifts from the Past x3

I think the "deal with it" section needs to be replaced with something a little more a-typical than "Um... should not everyone on alliance use this?"

I know it sounds crazy but I was thinking Agies and Grench.

    Re: Blue Shamanistic Dual Wield

Aegis it s not a good idea because u are in a dual wield mode so if u play a buckler it s a non sense to play shamanistic dual wield.

Greench it s a finishing move but it a little bit expensive. I play a shaman dual the most expensive card of my deck is weeble.

Look at Starcity games for the next few days a Blue Shaman duel wield deck came in top 4 at a 29 person event last sunday.

    Re: Blue Shamanistic Dual Wield

Since it costs 7, gifts from the past is not a 4 of, I would reduce it to 2 and put in some stuff to enhance your weapons since you are an enhancement shaman.  Maybe mealstrom weapon, rockbiter, mend or end, or even windfury weapon.

Sentry totem isn't that great, except for a ferocity horde rush. I would put it into the sideboard and use something else like maybe magma totem or even some more enhancement to your weapons.

I would bring demonblood eviserator down to at least a 3 of, it is not something you want in your opening hand since it costs 5, maybe even a 2 of.  Put in either some whispering blade of slayings or ashtongue blade. Ashtonuge blade is untargetable and all of a shamans enhancements for weapons do NOT target, they say attach to one of your meele weapons, not target, so they are perfect for a shaman.

The only turn 1 play you have is shamanistic dual wield (storm shock really isnt a turn 1, maybe 2 or 3 not 1), you really should add whispering blades so that you are guranteed a turn 1 play so you are not behind when you start.  Not only that since you are daggering up, it would add to the damage of your other daggers, which is really needed to turn up the heat fast.

Sorry to be a broken record, but enhancement shamans are only good if they enhance thier weapons...  It is their major win condition since they are able to keep up with a rogue for dpt (damage per turn, my new term)  sometimes even able to beat them.  Your major problems are going to be a weenie rush and balance druids with typhoon and cyclone and insects.  Good luck and have fun!

mmmmmm.. that weapon is chock full of Shamany goodness... Finally!! a male enhancement......................... shaman!!!!

    Re: Blue Shamanistic Dual Wield

You could just wait for my deck to be posted which is a solo blue shaman that has placed top 8 every event i have gone to. I concided last regional to place 2nd due to time restrictions that i had to leave.

When building shaman keep the drops low and it will help you out tons more.

    Re: Blue Shamanistic Dual Wield

this deck seems pretty interesting, I think I may make something similar for the Darkmoon Faire Tournament at Gen Con. Anyway I just had 2 questions. 1) Is Coif of the Wicked that good? Placing a quest means placing it as a resource right? So wouldn't you ready your hero and weapons in the very next step anyway? Unless I don't get the meaning of "place" a quest I am not sure why that would be good. My 2nd question is in regards to another poster that said you should not use Storm Shock on turn 1 ... can I ask why? Isn't 4 direct damage to your opponent's hero a good way to open the game if you don't have a whispering blade of slaying in your hand? Thanks! And cool deck!

Sort of unrelated but you might think about organizing your deck lists into more recognizable catoegories like allies, abilities, equipment, and quests.

    1) Placing a quest and placing a resource are 2 different things. Placing a quest means just that, you must place a quest. That is why Corki's Ransom is so good with that card.

As for the next part of the question, I'm not sure I understand. Your hero and your weapons would not ready in the next 'step'. The only time cards you control ready without another effect such as Coif of the Wicked is the Ready Step at the start of your turn.

I also think you are under the presumption that there is a combat step, in which you declare all combats. This is not the case. In the action phase (the main phase of your turn) you may: 1) Play a card; 2) Place a resource; 3) Propose a combat; 4) Complete a quest.

For example, you can attack with your hero and 2 weapons, then after the combat has finished, place a resource, readying your hero and his weapons, and proceed to attack again. Your hero would still ready again at the start of your next turn.

    2) It is sometimes better to wait until the opponent has an ally or 2 on the field to play Storm Shock. Applying pressure and forcing decisions early on can really help. Most people will choose there hero without a second thought, but sometimes they will need to thing things through.

    Re: Blue Shamanistic Dual Wield

I lost to something similar at the DMF in Antwerp. I can give you some tips based on what i remember from that match: It was completely solo had both wispering blade of slaying and Wraith scythe. I think wraith scythe realy makes that deck because of the healing. U can strike for 8 with a wraith scythe and a whispering blade on the board. Then you heal for 8. Plus whispering blade gives you another dual wield for icase your shamanistic dual wield gets destroyed, then u dont lose one of your daggers.

    Re: Blue Shamanistic Dual Wield

wraith scythe seems good, but the Darkmoon tournament is burning crusade block constructed, as is the upcoming regional season according to the website, so older cards arent allowed. I think the 4x whispering blades and Retainer's Blades will be good, I am adding 2x Ashtongue Blade to my deck too, just to have 2 more decent daggers.

Please tell me that you don't think every alliance deck should run 4x Leeroy. 'Cause that's not true at all.

The Dark Knight is probably the best movie I've ever seen.

that's why it is in quotes.

A good card, has it's place, but you have to be carefull with it; If you are relying on a bunch of allies to live it may be a bad idea to HOJ your own side.
