    Taheo Gift Rush

So, I've been building and building, faithfully standing by my Taheo Skyspeaker deck (I got this lovable cowman from my first ever WoW TCG purcahase - a MotL starter deck). So I've been trimming and cutting him up and now he's almost the way I want him.

What I'm asking for is some advice on the next step, how to trim the fat to make the deck work better.

    Hero: Taheo Skyspeaker

    Allies (30):
    Bloodsoul x4
    Magister Ashi x4
    Tyrennius Scatheblade x4
    Waz'luk x4
    Arcanist Dayvana x2
    Bloodblade x2
    Kagella Shadowmark x2
    Seamus Somerset x2
    Shadala x2
    Vexmaster Nar'jo x2
    Magistrix Oleinas x1
    Spymaster Thalodien x1

    Abilities (20):
    Cyclone x4
    Earth Moter's Blessing x4
    Force of Nature x4
    Gift of the Wild x4
    Invigorating Touch x2
    The Natural Order x2

    Quests (10):
    Information Gathering x2
Finkle Einhorn, At Your Service x2
    Forces of Jaedenar x2
    Orders From Lady Vashj x2
    Torek's Assualt x2

    Side Deck:
    Jon Reaver x2
    The Natural Order x2
    Nyn'jah x2
    Ossandran, Crematorium Master x2
    Shattering Blow x2

So, a few notes before we begin
    • I'm mostly interested in Main Deck improvements, but by all means diss my awful side deck
    • The 2 Scryer 1-ofs I'm using are mostly for fun / experimentation, if they don't work out then I'll be nuking them.
    • I've been trying to get 4 Vexmasters in, is it worth my while to do so?
    • Finally, I've put 2 Bloodblades in there for later rounds, in a rush deck like mine should I bother with bigger bodies like that?
    Any feedback appreciated.

    Re: Taheo Gift Rush

    ok, personally I would go:
    -2 Arcanist Dayvana
    -2 Seamus Somerset
    -2 Bloodblade
-2 Shadala (depends if your meta has a ton of abilities, if not sidedeck her)
    -1 Magistrix Oleinas
    -1 Spymaster Thalodien
    -2 Invigorating Touch
     -4 Tyrennius Scatheblade

That gives us 16 cards to work with:
     +1 Vexmaster Nar'jo
+4 Leeza, Tomb Robber (stealth with gift/earth mother's blessing is nasty, plus with a summerset ability)
+2 Kagella Shadowmark (her + Force of Nature = *shudders*)
     +4 Wrath
+2 Innervate (card advantage wins games)
     +3 Quests

Also I would probably change the quest line-up to something like:
    3 Orders from Lady Vashj
4 Finkle Einhorn, At Your Service!
    4 Torek's Assault
2 Information Gathering/The Name of the Beast

    Give that a try. :D

oh, and your sidedeck will develop depending on what you have problems with and your local meta.

    Re: Taheo Gift Rush

I was aware that my deck may be short on quests - but the plan is since I only need 6 resources to get into full swing I could use Dayvana to simulateously increase draw and flip an opponents quest.

So far it's worked well since she's not a bad body to start with (usaully trades 2 for 1).

    Re: Taheo Gift Rush

My most recent build, which carried me 4-2 (13th place) at Realms in Portland, Oregon:

    Taheo
    Quests
    3 Poison Water
    3 Chasing A-Me 01
    3 Orders from Lady Vashj
    3 Information Gathering

    Allies
    4 Kagella Shadowmark
    3 Broan Charges-the- Fight
    3 Elder Moorf
    3 Vexmaster Nar'jo
    4 Bloodsoul
    4 Tatulla the Reclaimer
    2 Ras'fari Bloodfrenzy
    3 Mojo Doctor Zin'tar

    Abilities
    4 Gift of the Wil
    4 Cyclone
    4 The Natural Order
    4 Force of Nature
    4 Moonfire
    2 Innervate
    1 Wrath

    Sideboard
    2  Wrath
    2 Barkskin
    2 Nyn'jah
    1 Varimathras
1 Mrrlrrgllrmmrrllg (or however you spell it.. the murloc card)
2 Twig of the World Tree

The only deck I had trouble with was the Fallenstar deck, with its wall of protectors and Myriam.. I've done fairly well against the druid version of that design (alliance blue wall) but the warrior version, with more effective ally removal, just wrecked me.

I think to counter that in the future, sideboard will have 4 War Stomp, so I can at least exhaust his wall, run in, pee on his leg, and run off.
