Re: Official FAQ (Drums of War)
Just wanting a clarification on what happens if my opponenet has out Netherbane & I play Crush Soul. Do I do as much as possible which would be to interrupt it, send it to graveyard & take the damage?
Netherbane, 1, Weapon—Axe, Melee (1), 2
ATK, 2 Strike
Cards in play you control can't be removed from the game. Crush Soul, 2, Instant Ability- Destruction Interrupt Target Ally Card. If you do, remove it from the game and put damage on your hero equal to that card's ATK

If you are interrupting the card then that means the ally card was on the chain and not in play. Since it wasn't in play, it isn't affected by Netherbane

Re: Official FAQ (Drums of War)
I have a question about Aura of Accuracy. The ability has this text:
Ongoing: You pay 1 less to play cards and effects with one or more targets, to a minimum of 1.
So what exactly does this card reduce cost of? From what I understand, this means most abilities (any ability that targets something?) but what about allies? Tatulla targets an opponent, doshura targets an ally, vindicator's brand targets an ability or equipment (once it's destroyed, but it still does), myriam targets a hero.
What exactly falls into this category? And how do you play an effect (or did I really misunderstand this card?).
Thanks in advance.

Re: Official FAQ (Drums of War)
Actually, none of what you mentioned targets anything. Tatulla and Doshura have triggered powers that target something, as does Vindicator's Brand. Myriam has an activated power that targets a hero. The cards themselves do not target anything.
Aura of Accuracy reduces the cost of an ability or card itself that targets. Mental Anguish targets a player, Chain Lightning targets an ally, etc. To understand the card, look at what you are putting on the chain and asking yourself if what is being put on the chain is targeting something.

Re: Official FAQ (Drums of War)
That's not entirely accurate.
True, those cards have effects which target, but the cards themselves do not.
Take, for instance, Mustang Sally's power ((4), destroy an ally in your party other than Mustang Sally => Destroy target opposing exhausted ally)
Aura of accuracy reduces the payment cost of this power by 1, since it is an effect which targets. However, it does not reduce Mustang Sally's play cost, as she herself does not target.

Re: Official FAQ (Drums of War)
I have a question about
Dyn'jah's Tabi Boots, 6, Armor—Leather, Feet (1), 1 DEF Other players can't use payment powers during your turn. You can use the payment powers of any cards in play during your turn (including opposing cards).
Since you pay your resources for payment powers that require resources, does that mean you can not play activated powers (a sub set of payment powers) of opposing cards? i.e. my opponent has Merciless Gladiator's Battlegear, 8, Warrior, Arena Armor Set—Plate, Chest (1), Hands (1), Head (1), Legs (1), Shoulder (1), 8 DEF If your hero would deal damage with a weapon, it deals double that much instead. [Activate] >>> Exhaust target hero or ally, and your hero deals 1 melee damage to it.
Since I don't control Merciless Gladiator's Battlegear, I can't activate it to use that payment power?

I'm confused about this card too... My opponents water elemental ready and been out for a turn so if it is my turn i can use the effect to hit my allies or his allies? same thing with myriam... does it work like that? or can i only use effects such as 1 -> interupt target card unless it's controller pays 1. can i remove my opponents poison counters from form? Etc. etc.

Re: Official FAQ (Drums of War)
If you can use activate powers then you would use it to hit your opponent's allies. The FAQ handles that part of it. It says "Such a power is read from your perspective (the player using the power), so “opposing” means opposed to you, and so on." For example if your opponent has Aspect of the Monkey (Discard a card Opposing allies have -2 ATK while in combat with your hero this turn. Use only once per turn.), then you may discard a card from your hand and your opponent's allies have -2 ATK when in combat with your hero.

Well... yes. You can use opponent's activation powers provided that card has been in that opponent's party since the start of turn. However, I suspect that they will activate the powers on their turn thereby denying you of it.

Re: Official FAQ (Drums of War)
I'm not sure about that. In order to do that I would need to exhaust my opponent's card as a cost. I used that specific card as an example since it was in the new set, however there are plenty of activate abilities that my opponent might have that he would not want to activate.
Also if it worked that way then would I be able to Destroy my opponent's Chipper Ironbane to destroy one of their equipment? That just seems way too powerful to me. I wish I could get a official answer to this. My instinct says I can't pay 'my' costs using opponent's cards, but I'm not sure if that is spelled out in the CRD.

Re: Official FAQ (Drums of War)
The card says that you can use the payment powers of your opponent's allies. Activated powers are a type of payment power, so you can use the activated powers of your opponent's allies with this card in play. I'm not sure why you would believe you need an official answer... the card is pretty clear. It makes no restriction on only being able to pay certain kinds of costs... so you can pay any of the necessary costs to use the ally's power. If that means exhausting or destroying the ally, then so be it.

Re: Official FAQ (Blood of Gladiators)
does all treant token has ferocity or just those produced by Force of Nature?
I asked because the official Treant token has a [ferocity] tag on it. Can anyone clarify?

Re: Official FAQ (Blood of Gladiators)
No they don't have always Ferocity, only if it's clearly stated on the card.

i know you're probably 80% right, i thought the same way too but I wanted confirmation from UDE because they printed the Official Treant token plus they called the token in BOG Treant as well instead of something else
