    One-Thousand-Posts

Got some free time coming up and have been thinking of reading the entire history(her-story?) of one of the thousand plus posters.  You know to get a little context.  Any long time readers have an opinion on which might make for the best read?  Why?   Want to avoid the 'rulers' or I'll be unable to avoid obsolete rulings getting in under the radar.( Because I tend to believe anything some of them post...and for an anarchist trickster with some authority issues that's saying something.)

So no rules gods, one thousand posts or more, and backgroud/highlights.  Please and thank you.

I think that pretty much rules out most of us. ;)  Interesting idea though.

    Re: One-Thousand-Posts

could try mine. a couple rough spots, a ruling every here and there. but I'm pretty sure atleast 50% is deck construction + tips. I was never too much of a rules junky since I knew Kysuke or some other big name would come by and answer sooner or later.

    Re: One-Thousand-Posts

Fawna01,  cool.  Don't get me wrong I'm one kind of rules junky that's the only reason I'm worried about speed reading rulings on potentially changed rules.   Like the idea of watching how someone else evolved their style in deckbuilding and advice on the same.

As for BlueRider... I'd never rule you out....you seem to edit religiously to correct and clarify. so :)

Kysuke might be a good choice. He probably has the most posts of the people who don't regularly post in the Rules Question forum.

    Re: One-Thousand-Posts

I would have nominated myself, being one of the longest-running posters, but looking back through it, its a really boring read.

It was such a nice forum way back when though...

    Yeah, but Kysuke's cocky. ;P

Kagrenac and Darksbane, though Darksbane didn't quite get to 1000 (he stopped at 960).

i could've hit 1k posts but i was too busy spamming 4chan to care. my posts are 10% rules questions, 10% decklist posts/comments and 80% spam.

    Re: One-Thousand-Posts

I'd nominate Ripark and Kagrenac.  Although there are many others that are worthy reads as well.

I would not nominate myself, as mine have been controversial and some of the info has been wrong in the past as I've stumbled and learned along the way.  Fortunately for folks like Rip, Kag, Khyote and many others have been quick to point out the errors of my ways.  ;)

    Re: One-Thousand-Posts

No love for me? :-(  Sure a lot of mine are rules posts, but I've been known to get involved in some very non-rules related discussion when I have the time.

I would nominate bunklore but a lot of his posts are one-liners and calls for wing-eating contests.

    Re: One-Thousand-Posts

What?  I thread about post-leaders and I'm only mentioned once?!  As currently-reigning Number Two, I'm offended.  ;-)

Actually, I've read back through some of my posts before and it's kind of embarassing some of the things I believed about the rules to this game.  If you're a rules buff, then I think you'd enjoy reading how we developed our rules knowledge.  Plus, some of the rules threads had quite a bit of drama (anyone remember... I don't know if I should even speak his name... Silcrates? :-o ).
