    Dusty's Worlds Top 8 Report

Dusty's report is up at InfoGathering.com (direct link).  He talks about preparation for Worlds, his change in mentality, Fogo de Chao, and his deck decision.

I would encourage you to leave feedback on that site instead of here, I'm not sure how frequently he reads here.

    Thanks!

I was severely disappointed by Fugo de Chao coverage.  After Jedion's gushing over it, I was expecting at least a page on how awesome it was.

PS: For the seattle people, Ipanema is the place I was talking about.

    Man, good call!

Maybe I should write a tournament report, which includes a good page on fugo de chao

    I would read it!

(But then I'd read a lot of things)

Just gave it a read. Liked the article quite a bit.

    Thanks all.

While I think I implied it, I wan't to explicitly thank Team Seattle too.

Thanks back! (especially for certain people who have the name rhyming with 'spook then' who don't really use this forum)

Re: Dusty's Worlds Top 8 Report

On Sunday, we wanted to go to the fabled Fugo de Chao for lunch but were thwarted by it not being open for lunch.  So, while we proceeded elsewhere, I mentioned that there was a similar styled (though probably not as delicious) place in Seattle and that we could/should go some time.  I couldn't remember the name of it, though.

Nice report Dusty! As a fellow Steelers fan I was rooting for you to take it all the way.

Re: Dusty's Worlds Top 8 Report

Dusty, whoever told you county line was the best BBQ in austin, or the best in TX was smoking crack. It's decent (ive been there plenty), but its nothing special.  It's just a BBQ chain that is attractive enough to most people to make it successful.
The best BBQ in austin is probably the Salt Lick, but you'd have to go out to a lot of the small towns in the hill country ~45-60 minutes outside of austin to get "the best BBQ in texas".

Congrats on your top 8 performance. I was glad to see you there.

Re: Dusty's Worlds Top 8 Report

    Thanks again.

I won't mention who said County Line was the best to protect themselves from ridicule. :P Like I said, it wasn't terrible, mainly my problem was the meat wasn't hot, just warm, and to me that makes for not very good food. Next time around Salt Lick it is.
