Blessing of Shadows - Namrah, Namrah, Savin

That was alot of fun.  Never really got anywhere other than a few games with it, but it always seemed like it had potential.

Ugh and a half. I need other ideas. I FINALLY and I mean FINALLY own a Namrah.  Pulled my first ever in the second mount event I entered at Worlds.

    Cheers!

Why play double Namrah when you can play Jaina + Jezbella instead?

I think what I'm saying is... PEW PEW PEW!

Also, LO-O-OVE the Amalar matchup. ;)

Amalar eats Jezebella alive, he can one shot her without breaking a sweat and if she shot first she already is at 2 less. Don't forget that Amalar can run the Boom Stick and she pretty much is in deep crap by the time she is ready to shoot him. With Amalar you don't really need to be affraid of his VP total since he kills so readily.

There are very few teams that make me nervous sitting across from them with Triple Amalar.

    Re: When I say Namrah,

was just looking at her for my Savin/ firing platform group. have not played it out but namrah as a 2/3/7 with a 2-2-7 attack that heals everyone for 1 with a 1-3-7 backup for those hard to reach places could be alot of fun. the only problems are the 29 honor and  the complete reliance on magic damage but savin with the defence re-roll and being healed every 2-4 ticks makes me think just maybe...

    savin
    bulwark
    Signet of eternal life

    jaina
    Greater water elemental
    arcane flux
    Polymorph
    iceblock

    namrah
    Shadow form
    Psychic scream
    Mind blast

    Re: When I say Namrah,

There is legit no way that Jez/Jaina/Savin can lose to Trips Amalar. I'd be really surprised if it happened ever, especially on KotH.

Could you expound on that a bit please? I’m trying to be like a sponge on the boards…absorb as much information about the game as I can.

Is that you being a snob or correct? I'm SO CONFUSED!

Honestly, there's nothing scares my Amalar more than a gaggle of casters.  I've never played Trip Amalar.  One Amalar sucks it up when Namrah comes calling.  That same Amalar cries like a little girl when two Namrahs come calling.  What happens with Three Amalars gang up to beat on those same Namrahs?    How does Trip Amalars answer other caster-heavy bands, particularly the Jex/Jaina/Savin I saw at worlds?

    Cheers!

My friend and I have been using Amalar quite a bit and he truly is rediculous. I doubt either of you have put triple Amalar on the field to even find out what it can do.

In that match the only thing that might win you the game is Water Elemental. Jez impales herself on Amalar. Amalar will die, but luckily there is more than 1 to do damage. Obviously the way the teams handle each other can not be explained well over the internet as usual since it is all about 1 uping the other guys explanation. The easiest way to explain it is 2 Amalars will get to your pack of casters losing 1 on the way on this map. Amalar will kill any character in that team in 1 attack if it has already taken Sulfuras Damage. And there will be 2 Amalars making those attacks.

Try it out a few games and come back to me with your findings, and not just your theories.

    For HighCholonic's benefit:

I have to admit I haven't yet run off and tested this, but okay, there are a few assumptions in here. I'll just make a list of problems:

If Jaina and Jezbella have Ice Blocks, you can no longer win the game. JJ can just Ice Block on the VP spot, Savin doesn't take Bulwark in that case, and I'm 25 honor to your 33 or other absurd number (don't know how many Sulf's). You get to farm Savin, I figure I get 2-4 kills over the game, and have the hill for probably 5-10 ticks. I'm 7 away, roughly, though I'd honestly expect more than 2 kills, can you possibly expect to kill Savin a bajillion times? Maybe you have breakthrough so I have the hill less than I assume? But man, you're still 8 more honor than me. Amalar isn't that good.

If for some strange unknown reasons they don't have IBs and it's not an autowin, then you're ignoring Savin's taunt. On such a tight map it's going to be rough to play around, especially with the elemental blocking a space and getting to relocate all my guys around Savin every tick.

Other problem is how easy it is for me to kite you. You probably have to devote 5 cards to Sulfs and Breakthroughs, which leaves you with one charge you can use to get to the hill before me, unless I bring Crusader Aura and go first. Why can't I just move around the map super fast with my 1-tick attacks?
