In which situations applies protector?

Irana attack to Lady Vashj  and Ironfur Bear has protector.

I beleive C and G are the only 2 situations where protector would be usable.

Protector
If an adjacent ally would be attacked by an enemy not adjacent to it, this character may become a defender instead.

A. Vashj is not adjacent to Ironfur bear. (no protect)
B. Vashj is not adjacent to Ironfur bear. (no protect)
C. Vashj is adjacent to Ironfur bear and Irana is attacking while not being adjacent to Vashj. (protect)
D. Irana is adjacent to Vashj (no protect)
E. Vashj is not adjacent to Ironfur bear. (no proect)
F. Vashj is not adjacent to Ironfur bear. (no protect)
G. Vashj is adjacent to Ironfur bear and Irana is attacking while not being adjacent to Vashj. (protect)
H. Irana is adjacent to Vashj (no proect)
