    Sivandra Darklust

Sivandra Darklust has Will of the Forsaken (can leave play only due to fatal damage or having zero heatlh).

She also has the game text "When Sivandra enters play, draw a card, then destroy an ally in your party."

So the questions from my (very insistent) players are:

If she is the first ally into play, can she stay in play? (My ruling: Yes; there are no valid targets for the "destroy an ally in your party".

If another card says "destroy an ally in target player's party" with Sivandra's controller as the target, can that player choose Sivandra as the target? (My ruling: No; she can't be destroyed [destroyed being synonymous with removing from play] thus is not a valid target.)

Looking forward to finding out how wrong I may be.

    1. Yes she will stay in play. You will draw the card and since she is the only target you try to destroy her but fail. If another ally was in play like Bloodsoul for instance you have to destroy Bloodsoul

    2. You are correct again. Leaving play means anything that would cause her to leave the play zone (Ally row, Hero row, and Resource row). Untill she has fatal damage or zero health.

    Re: Sivandra Darklust

One more question about Will of Forsaken. Utopia does work against it, doesn't it. It says that "Put each other ability, ally, and equipment into its owner's resource row face down, then exhaust them." This doesn't couse them to leave play.

    A'm I right?

Yes. Utopia is basically a wider-scale Hibernate, and Hibernate is specifically mentioned in the FAQ as working against WotF, as being flipped facedown, being exhausted, and being put into the resource row all leave the card in play (plus it becomes a different card without WotF when flipped facedown).
