    Stunned Heroes and Tersly

Tersly (Good Minor Hero) has the text "Exhaust Action: If an enemy hero is in my zone, draw 2 cards"

Does a stunned hero count for this? I would assume so as it is still in the zone, but the question has come up

    Thanks

    Re: Stunned Heroes and Tersly

    Huntik Comp Rules:
407.1    Some modifiers stun a hero or obstacle in play. A stunned card is exhausted and turned face down. It remains in its current zone, but it can’t block, ready, move, or enter any other zone. A stunned card has no text or tags, but it keeps its name, controller, owner, and any counters that are on it. Either player may look at a face-down stunned card at any time.
Based off that rule, I would have to say a stunned hero would still be considered either friendly or an enemy.

No, A stunned hero is treated as if its not in the zone. Unless an effect that specifically lists a stunned hero as a target.

    Re: Stunned Heroes and Tersly

The closest thing I can find that supports your answer is..
    Huntik Comp Rules:
400.10d    A hero is alone in a zone if there are no other unstunned heroes in that zone. There can be features in a zone with a single hero, and that hero is still alone.
Dan, is this the correct rule to follow with regards to this question?

    Re: Stunned Heroes and Tersly

You can use Tersly's exhaust action power in a zone with a stunned enemy hero.
Simon is correct in referencing section 407.1. A stunned hero is in its zone, and it keeps its controller so it will either be an enemy or friendly hero.

You cannot target a stunned hero (expect with powers that explicitly target stunned heroes), but Tersly's power does not target.

    Thank you very much Dan.

Is it safe to assume that 400.10d is specifically for those effects that use the word 'alone'?

Correct. This is for powers like Sunhawk's and Fireblade's that use the word 'alone'.

    Re: Stunned Heroes and Tersly

Ok if i understand this correctly Defoe's ability Protect Me will also work if there is a stunned friendly suit in his zone as the suit would keep its name?

    DeFoe
    SAS_029, Organization Lieutenant
    Evil, Major Hero,Seeker
    Attack 6, Defense 3
Protect Me — If a friendly minor Suit is in my zone, attacks can't be aimed at me. Scapegoat — Free Action
Discard a Suit card to ready me.

From what I understand, yes, it works just fine.

The Suit keeps its name and its type (Minor Hero).

    Re: Stunned Heroes and Tersly

It seems quite counter-intuitive to have Defoe 'alone' in a zone with a Stunned Suit and not be able to aim attacks at him.

Dan - can we have a clarification? It working like that makes no (common) sense.

It doesn't work out perfectly thematically, but these things are all true.
If DeFoe was going to be designed today, he'd say a "friendly unstunned Suit" but I don't feel it requires an errata (like Ymir or Tomb Enterance did) just for the purpose of better thematics at this point.
