I have another idea. What about a Gladiator Beast with a Stratos-like effect...one where when it's brought out by the effect of another GB, you can add a GB from your deck to your hand.

It should totally be like this

Gladiator Beast Retiari - Light

Winged Beast/1200 ATK/ 600 DEF

At the end of a battle phase where this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the deck to  special summon another "Gladiator Beast" monster from your deck. When this card is special summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, discard 1 random card from your opponents hand.

There we go, it's nice and broken, AND I get to main 3 Honest's with it and Prisma! As if they weren't broken before... :P

Lol, but GB doesn't need Honest. Now, if there was a Wind-type or Earth-type Honest, that would work well.

I think a more broken card would be if it had the same effect, but was a 4 Star Dark Winged Beast Tuner with under 1000 ATK.

it used to be if you were a 4 star level 4 or lower warrior with 1000 or less attack, you were the most broken thing ever. Now being a level 4 or lower dark tuner with 1000 or less attack is the most broken thing ever. and that is why krebons has 1200 attack.^^

Do you think Retiari's going to be a Secret Rare?

All things considered from The Duelist Genesis, some of the TCG and OCG exclusives that we got were Secret Rare.

Although most of the GB cards are common, rare or super rare.

that was the Secret Rare Ratio for TDGS.

I think Retiari's rarity will depend mostly on his effect.

mabey retiari is a intercept for syncros like

"when this card is special summond by the effects of a gladiator beast take control of one face up oponents syncromonsters and change its level to 4 that card canot declare a attack. when this card leaves the field send  the  oponents mpnster back to its controlers extra deck. when this card attacks or is a ttacked you can send this card back to the deck to speical summon 1 gladiato beast monster to your side of the field."

it would be a 1 star water tunner with 500 atk and 500 def

it would be used to syncro into a 5 star gladiator tunner wich requires a retiari. wich when summond sends 1 gladiator beast in your graveyard back to its owners deck. and it has a 2 gladiator tag out ability except for bestiari and retiari.

I think that's a little too much for an effect. A Snatch Steal-like effect would be a different concept for any themed group of monsters, but I have a feeling it has some sort of +1 effect (hand discarding, add 1 GB from deck to hand, etc)

I think it is just going to be something like a larquari rarity and a fusion. Besides when the glad beasts get hit by the next ban list i doubt they would be the something so broken. Maybe some kind of negation effect or some kind of screwed up destroy target effect.

Personally, I do too. Although a Caius-like effect will help against Colossal Fighter, Thought Ruler Archfiend, Stardust Dragon, and Prime Material Dragon. Even with low stats (like Murmillo), it can have an amazing impact on the game.
