Simon Key is currently not a major option.

Franklin DeBrito might overlook it since its already been answered, he was also at SJC Seattle and very busy.

I was up for 33 hrs yesterday, and very tired when I went to bed so I could be up for Day 2.

Kalani Jasmine is as Knowledgable (if not more so) than myself.  She should be listend to if I am not present.

Illusion is very knowledgable, and should be listened to.

D1case is very knowledable, and should be listened to.

Curtis doesn't post often in the non-judge forums

Julia doesn't post often and was too busy with SJC Seattle to worry.

Re: GB's W/ Test Tiger vs Solemn

There are numerous judges on this forum who have a proven track record as being people who know what they are talking about (D1case, Illusion, Johnist, and myself being some of the most prominent and regular members with a high degree of knowledge).

Franklin himself has stated in the past that he knows many LV1 judges (on this forum) who know more than some of the LV3 judges, and the only reason they do not have higher qualifications is due to an inability to travel to a major event.

Elitism is not appreciated on this forum, especially by a member of the judging community. If you wished for your question to be answered by a select few individuals only you should have either:

    • Sent them a PM OR
    • Posed your question to Curtis over on the Judges Forum.

As far as my own credentials and knowledge is concerned - I believe my posts and articles on this forum speak for themselves, even if you discount the fact that I have been referred to as a member of the "Big 5" of the Yugioh Forum, among other terms of respect.

Johnist is the worst offender of giving me an inflated ego and making me feel more than a little embarrased with the terms of respect/endearment he gives me (Night Empress, Great Lady of the Forum, etc) lol.

If you had any questions as to the accuracy of my answer, you should have simply asked for validation of my claims.

Im certain that both myself and numerous other members of this forum would have validated what I said and provided FAQ references in support of said, if they didnt just link to one of my articles instead as they often do.

In any case, arrogance and elitism is unbecoming of a UDE judge as it alienates the player base. As the face of UDE, that is the last thing we should be doing.

Re: GB's W/ Test Tiger vs Solemn

It came up because I made the innocent comment showing my preference for "Summon Limit" over "Solemn Judgment" as an answer for Test Tiger, which would have gone no further than that had someone not been under the incorrect assumption that "Summon Limit" would negate the effect of Test Tiger.

I was just trying to help clarify that person's misunderstanding. Sometimes threads get hijacked when the original question (or another comment to said) sparks additional questions or confusion.

It happens. By rights we should have taken it to another thread but sometimes its just easier to answer the question within the original thread.

Once the transition period is over, threads over on the "Unofficial Rules" forum should be restrained to a single question or topic, and any additional questions raised on a particular thread should be asked in a new thread in order to make it easier to search.

The odds of that happening without Franklin moving posts constantly however is small, esp. when you factor that new posters would not be aware of such a rule.
