Re: Gladiator Beast Retiari with a little bit of history

I think that Retiari will have an effect much like Darius but from the deck. A fusion that requires murmillo/secutor. When it is fusion summoned it brings 2 glads from the deck other then murmillo/secutor, but it can't tag out. I'd safely say it would have no more then Gyzarus in attack.

Or its going to suck worse then thorax, we did get Octavius.
Don't have an answer for you. Konami hasn't explained their reasoning behind these decisions.

    Sorry.

Just the fact that we don't know if it will be a low level monster or a Fusion monster gets us all pretty confused. I wish we had some insight. Too bad R&D can't let us in on some of the details. Lol. I wonder if they read this and make bets as to how far off we all are.

Lol. Yeah, maybe. They could be seeing which ones would upset the community the most and work from there.

Lol. Yeah, considering the fact that we have some amazing TCG exclusives. And they still don't have Allure, Darklord Zerato, and Grandmaster. Take that Japan, with your ninjas and your math!

They'll get all of it when the Extra Pack comes out. It's all of the TCG exclusives from Tactical Evolution, Gladiator's Assault, Phantom Darkness, and the sneak preview cards from STON through PTDN.

Maybe, maybe not. If we don't see a mid ban list by Nov or Dec, I'm not worrying until March.

You know, I just thought of something. What if they make Retiari the field searcher for GB? Would anyone here run it?

Re: Gladiator Beast Retiari with a little bit of history

Short answer; No. It's not necessarily bad, especially when you can save it by discarding another, but you know as well as I do how hard it already is to find room in the deck.

Re: Gladiator Beast Retiari with a little bit of history

Oh yeah. Especially when you can make a Murmillo as strong as a Darius or Laquari.

Re: Gladiator Beast Retiari with a little bit of history

True, though 800 really isn't that low. Most people will attack directly with something like Sangan or DH-Fear Monger without too much fear, granted those 2 have effects that are great when destroyed, but 1000 is about the cut off point for attacking directly being justified. Save Spirit Reaper, etc.

The Field spell is good, I remember taking note of it when GLAS first came out. But having the deck built now, there's nothing in there it's really more advantageous then. Especially considering you'd need at least 3 cards dedication (Colloseum, Terraforming, Retiari if it were a searcher, etc.) to it for it to have any real role. Otherwise it would just be a random card that will only give you any kind of significant benefit about 20% of the time you use it.

    Not for me.
