actually, we choose to "school" ourselves. its because we want to succeed/move on to college/universities. american universities are a joke to get into.... american school children really do not care for academics as much as other countries/one another.

take for example...you need to pass a test to get into "high school", you need to study all year round, test all year round. then, when you want to get into a college/university, you need to take an incredibly difficult test just to even try to be accepted, so as a result, people usually test at around 7-10 different schools. life isnt fun during this time and its very very stressful....

Yes, UDE could do that, but materials would increase cost and that would have to be passed on. So instead of $4 per pack it might cost you $4.50 - $5.00. And Starter/Structure decks might go from $9.99 to $14.99

People will buy more packs at the lower price point, increasing prices could reduce sales and lower income.

Why do Japanese cars generally last longer than American-made ones?

Same answer.  They are built to last.

But in any case if you sleeve all the cards with which you play and use reasonable shuffling techniques, the UDE-made YuGiOh cards should last a loooooooong time.

That's right. Even though Japan has DAD as a rare, their packs are massively expensive compared to ours.

Is there such a thing!? Now that this thread has been completely disrailed, I find it odd than I, nor anyone I know, has ever seen an Asian homeless person. Ever. Living in Florida, St. Petersburg, FL to be specific (A.K.A. Homeless Haven), you'd really think I'd have seen at least one. Odd note sure, but once an unrelated and brand new word is born by fusing two nationalities together, it's fair to assume it's now open season for oddities..

Well, I was wrong. Wait, don't you mean you're hispanic or you legitimately came from Mexico?

At any rate, welcome to the UDE forums!

It is a little known fact, but a fact nonetheless, that licensors can exercise control over all aspects of card creation, including stock, ink, and foil treatments.

I'd say so. If it were my guess I'd say that UDE didn't want all of these powerful cards being too easy to get and then clog up the meta with infi-DAD and Lightsworn decks.
