Sorry for sounding uninformed, but would does this require the materials for the summon or does it just summon the monster?

GBs can only die once per effect, even if that effect had say 2 target effects (Gyzarus), it wouldn't be able to hit one CB monster twice.

Yea Black Rose Dragon does destroy itself along with its effect (if chosen to be activated), but the other effect is, either make a defense position monster change to attack and the attack points are 0, u can also choose an attack position monster and change its attack to 0.

Btw this is a video on youtube with the Signer "Izayoi", and she has the Black Rose Dragon.

Black Rose Dragon's 2nd effect in the anime/manga are different from the OCG. In the anime/manga the 2nd effect is that you remove from play all plant type monsters from your graveyard to reduce the attack of one of your opponent's monster to 0. So I'd have to say that the OCG version is a little bit better than the anime/manga version. But either way, it's an awesome card and I can't wait until it comes out in the TCG. :)

First of all i hate everyone that insults the Black Rose Dragon or Aki. So already hate several people here. Second the Crimson Dragon is summoned when all 5 Signers are gathered. If Godwin had the Crimson Dragon he wouldn't be trying to revive it with the 5 chosen Signers. Now would he? Last i think i'll just hate everyone here for their brainless comments.

what it dose from what i watched from the anime is if you remove a plant type monster from play in the graveyard you can destroy all your opponents cards on the field.

BRD is sexy and im going to sooooo get it in ghost if its one thing i do get..i <3 plant decks they are great but i cannt run them right now they are sort of pissing me off with the bad draws and low support

Black Rose Dragon has 2 entirely seperate effects.

The First Effect is an Optional-Trigger-Class Effect upon its Successful Synchro Summon.  This effect allows you to destroy all cards on the field when it is Synchro Summoned.

The Second Effect is an Ignition-Class Effect that allows you to remove one (1) Plant-Type monster from your graveyard from play (as Cost) to target one (1) monster in Defense Position on your opponent's side of the field.  During Resolution of this effect, the monster is switched to Face-Up Attack Position and its ATK becomes 0.  Flip Effects of Face-Down monsters will be triggered.

Aki has the Multiple-Personality Disorder that makes her both Sweet and Sick.  Kind and Vicious.  Good and Evil.

BRD is a beautiful creature on the show, and I honestly do appreciate "good" artwork.

The Crimson Dragon is the "God" of the Dragons. It's servants are the 5 Dragon Synchros (5 D S), who are held by the 5 Duelist Signers (More 5DS fun).

The 5 Signers and their Dragons are the key to summoning the Crimson Dragon supposedly. The 5 Dragon Synchros are the Crimson Dragon's Followers, who were ment to basically help contain evil while it rested, or so I'm presuming thus far on the plot we do know.

Anyhow, the Crimson Dragon isn't a DS.

The final one will appear in... oh... 2-3 Episodes. The Dark Signer's soon to appear...

Yusei = Wind Signer (Most of his "main cards" are "Wind" attribute)
Jack = Dark Signer (Most of his "main cards" are "Dark" attribute)
Aki = Fire Signer (Most of her "main cards" are "Fire" attribute)
Ruca/Luca = Light Signer (Most of her "main cards" are "Light" attribute)

The next Signer is probably Water, leaving Earth to be the Crimson Dragon.
