Well u see the diffrence is that i am the one gaining hand control......not them and the other diffrence is i toped at 4 out of the 5 regioanls i been in....lol....and Don Zalog has not appeared in the top and it probably never will but thats just in Missouri i never played in Alabama so i dont know waht people run there.....Everyone in missouri runs meta decks and i completely demolish them ......lol.....also i just dont see pulling off Cyber Dragon into don them nobleman or smash everytime....u try that at a Shoen Jump u will get Rick Rocked.......Ur wasting ur hand to fast with no draw power... big deal u get off a combo and then make them - 1 Card u just used 4 cards to make them - 1 thats not good odds......
Now Ima do myself a Favor and make this deck and try it mabye its better than i give it credit so ima try it i aint net decking it so dont think that...i am just going to see if ur right about this deck.......
First of all I do think it's cool you've toped 4 out of 5 regionals. Secondly, with Don Zaloog you're still getting hand control, just in a different way. Instead of creating more options for yourself you're keeping the current options that you have and taking options away from your opponent. It's kind of taking a more aggro approach to reaching the same goal that your deck does. Don't you think it's sounds just as dangerous (if not moreso) for you to have 3 cards and your opponent has 1 compared to you having 6 cards and your opponent having 4? In both scenarios your opponent is at a minus 2, but if you think about it they have less viable options to pull out of their card disadvantage if they only have 1 card in hand.
Anyway, as far as the combo is concerned that's not the ONLY way I use Don. It just happens to be a great combo that pops up a lot. With all of my traps and quickplay spells I can back my Don up quite a bit, and with the DD family along with Smash and Nobleman I can take the aggro approach for squeezing Don through. Man, the more I think about 3 DD Warriors the happier it makes me. Lol.
Oh, by the way, you know how you were talking about people in Missouri all running Meta decks and you're the only one who smacks them around. It's a similar situation in AL, GA, and TN (the 3 places I play). EVERYONE runs meta and either 7/8 or 8/8 from top 8 consists of meta. This past Saturday was the first time I'd ever seen 2 non meta decks in the top 8. Cho and Chi Hoi both kind of broke the mold with their DZ hand control. I just didn't want you to think that these 3 states have a whole bunch of random jank decks running around and Don Zaloog was the best we could muster. It's pretty much the same crappy boring meta that the rest of the US runs. I really wish the entire internet would shut down for about a month so that people would be forced to come up with deck ideas on their own instead of using the latest net deck....
Anyway, I hope you do build my deck and see how it runs. That's really the best way to accurately evaluate a deck and make the best possible changes. I know I got a bit ticked off when you were bashing Slate, but now that I've yanked him out and added a 3rd Kycoo and a 3 DD Warrior I think it actually runs a bit smoother, so thanks. Crush stays in though. My deck doesn't revolve around it (just like Bellido's, Bowling's, and Corn's don't) and I can definitely win without it. However, in the instance that I do pull it off it certainly gives me a HUGE advantage over my opponent. It's just one of those cards that's too good NOT to run. You know? The few times that it actually is a dead card in my hand I can just set it as a bluff or discard it with Snip Hunter. Either way it serves a purpose. Anyway, let me know how playtesting my deck goes.
