Upcoming Rules Updates for Raid Decks?

Okay I hahve a group that I routinely run raids for.  They and I prefer Raids to one-on-one.  My question is this: Will UDE be coming out with any rules updates in regard to the newer cards and how they interact with the Raid Decks?

Currently the group I run for loads up on Eye of the Storm Battleground location and tries to use that to lock down the Raid Boss and their minions.  While not as much of a hinderance in Black Temple or Molten Core it can be particularly devastating in Magtheridon and Oynxia where there is usually only the Raid Boss.

I honestly don't see from a semantical point of view how the Raiding Characters can be raiding Black Temple and in Eye of the Storm at the same time.  I'd houserule that they can't be used for that reason alone but my players wouldn't go for it.

Re: Upcoming Rules Updates for Raid Decks?

Given that raid decks aren't a tournament format, there isn't much incentive to spend development time rebalancing the old raid decks against cards from the new sets.

However, what a lot of people do is limit the sets that the raiding players can use to the ones that were out when the raid was released. For example, when Onyxia's Lair was released, the only regular set was Heroes of Azeroth and that's the pool of cards that the raid was balanced against. When you add in cards that were released afterwards you're going to have more tactical options and, in some cases, more powerful cards.

Of course, this is all up to you and the people you play with. The raid decks have a way of self-policing. If your group wants to just plow through the Onyxia raid with very little effort or risk of failure then that's their prerogative. It's all about what is the most fun for everyone.

Re: Upcoming Rules Updates for Raid Decks?

In this game, one player will pilot the Black Temple™ Bosses, and the other players
will take on the role of a raiding party, playing their own decks built from the World of
    Warcraft® TCG card pool.

Each raiding player brings a standard 60-card (minimum) deck and hero.

If one or more raiding players are Alliance, then none
can be Horde, and vice versa. No other restrictions
apply. For example, Traitor heroes can be in a raiding
party with non-Traitors, and Demon heroes can be in a
    raiding party with non-Demons.

so given this there are no restrictions other than the fact that alliance cant fight along side horde even if 1 player has aldor and another has scryer its still legal in raids

also your argument for  why raiding players cant have locations is that  they are in the black temple

well what about when to people are pvping and one has silvermoon out and someone else has ironforge or something, you could use the argument that well both players characters are in two different cities so how are they fighting. I don't mean to be rude by this but physics in a card game don't work man. And given the current rules and how they are stated LOCATIONS are legal in all raids as of the current update to the Raid Rules documentation.

I kjnow the locations are legal hence why they get used in the Raid Decks.  As for your argument about PVP (II assume you mean one-on-one) that combat could be seen as taking place in the overall world and not in a Raid Instance.  Since the combat is taking place in the world locations are acceptable.

I am not making an argument for the use or disuse of locations overall, only stating that in this specific instance they don't make much sense to me.  You arguing that they don't make much sense from a game physics standpoint only reinforces my point that locations don't make much sense in a Raid Deck and you add to my argument by strengthening it with your comment about locations not making sense in PVP.
