I played in one of these about two weeks ago - the mission is mirror image, so anything that allows you to get to zone 5 quickly, and weak minor heroes are great.  I managed to pull a Slitherfang, a Slipstream, a Hyperstride and an Enforcer, all of which were excellent in the games I played them. 

King Basilisk was also epic.
